It was so nice to discover such a wonderful theater so close to home! I loved seeing the Hocus Pocus Live show of one of my all time favorite movies! The theater gave a 360 degree perspective with projections on the walls which was really neat. Getting up on stage and then having the whole cast and crew sing Happy Birthday for my 40th really made the evening unforgettable. Thank you!

Let's be honest - my son was one of the actors, so I LOVED IT!!!! Equally amazing was the theater - talk about immersive! The care & detail that went into the lighting and displays was out of this world! My advice - see any show here. You won't be disappointed.

My husband and I wanted to get out of the house and see something fun and light and entertaining. We had no connection to the cast members or anyone else related to the production, but I am from Wallingford, where both of the cast members are from. I saw a FB post raving about how funny it was, and performed by local talent. We were not disappointed. It was so well done. Those actors did not miss a thing! We had such a good time and we were so proud of these 2 young men who were so bold as to take on a project of this magnitude. It was a delight. It was also our first time at the Cabaret Theatre on Main. What a gem of a performing space!

My family loved it. We saw Gutenberg! the Musical! at Cabaret on Main recently. The talent, the sound, the intimacy, and the overall experience was great. Concessions were affordable, management was super friendly and present, and overall, we loved it.

This place is absolutely remarkable. Everything that they do is warm, inviting, and friendly. Not only are the shows remarkable to see. But what Billy and Neil do is instrumental to the community. All of these up and coming actors are mentored professionally and given the utmost respect. The production of "A Christmas Story" was something that was totally indescribable. From the performance on state to the lighting and the sound. Totally mind-blowing! This is one of the best theaters in the country. 10/10 if they are putting on a show, get over there and enjoy.

Tyler and Devonte are both extraordinary talents. They work seamlessly and effortlessly together (in Gutenberg the Musical!), while being independently gifted on their own. It is rare to see such on-stage chemistry outside of romantic roles, which these were not. And the acvompanist, Phyllis Silver, was the train that drove the whole show. Her impeccable timing and artistry made a difficult show seem almost effortless. Watching her hands move across the keyboard was like watching a finely choreographed dance. Together, their ensemble was a joy to behold. Bravo all around!

I recently had the pleasure of attending the production of "A Christmas Story: The Musical" at Broadway at Main in East Haven, and I can confidently say it was a fantastic experience!

The cast truly brought the characters to life with remarkable energy and talent. Ralphie, played by a remarkably talented young actor, captured the innocence and excitement of childhood perfectly. His comedic timing and heartfelt moments resonated with both children and adults in the audience. The supporting cast, particularly the actors portraying Ralphie's family and friends, delivered standout performances.

The production design was also impressive, with colorful sets and amazing projections that transported the audience to a snowy Indiana of not so long ago.

What truly stood out, though, was the warmth and enthusiasm of the entire production team. It was evident that everyone involved was passionate about bringing this holiday classic to life, and their dedication made the performance even more enjoyable.

Overall, "A Christmas Story: The Musical" at Broadway at Main is a delightful way to celebrate the holiday season. I highly recommend catching this show for a heartwarming and entertaining time that will leave you with a smile. Bravo to the entire cast and crew for a job well done!
