The staff that run and teach the Stamford CAPS program are absolutely horrible. They are racist, rude, and disrespectful. They pick and chose who they want to treat horribly and who they want to favor.. it’s absolutely disgusting. I find it absolutely crazy that UConn is one of the top schools in connecticut but they discriminate every chance they get and when brought to attention, no one does anything.

I truly wish I didn’t apply here.

Robotic professors with zero compassion, incompetent advisors who can't be bothered to respond to emails, tons of random mystery fees that are mandated even if they don't apply to you, the list goes on and on. Erica Granoff, the Director of "Student Services" (if you can even call it "Services") said it best: "This is not a school. This is a business."

Tremendous Value in terms of cost per credit hour. Stamford would make much more sense for a main campus compared to Storrs.

I did all 4 years of undergrad here and had a great experience! They offer so many scholarships, internships and networking opportunities as well as staff and faculty who want their students to succeed. What’s even more amazing is that this campus keeps growing every year and they’re always working on improving. Definitely saved me a lot of money instead of going to Storrs!

The single most difficult, not my job bunch of employees I have ever come in contact with ! The one bright spot is technical support to help with the worst online support system in the industry. I have been pushed from person to person to help sign up for a senior audit class. The registration folks are unhelpful & pushed responsive to a part time adjunct teacher. Really? I expected better.

Can't say much for the school or academics. Im not enrolled but my nephew is. I can speak only of the dorms, which are incredible. I want to live here (in fact I should since im paying!) They are covid safe. Last year was very strict. This year looks like they have the common areas open and in person classes again, so hoping my nephew can network more and meet people. Which was a main reason he chose Stamford over Storrs. Good luck to all the students this year. Stay safe.
