I am in the waiting room so its a bit early to leave a review. I will update if there are any unknowns of discoveries and i do not expect to need to do so.
The diagnostics were incredibly detailed and hands on. Not everyone will
like this however I appreciate this level of details. This business is best for people who like to know exactly what they are getting.
Quickly they generated a cost and I decided to have it done right there. It saved me time.
So far my experience has been exactly what I want and problem solving. They further went on to diagnose an issue that I was not aware of.
Moreover I like supporting a local business that has the capacity to support artisanal work providing a tangible service.
Most people who want the job done well and to see it will like this business.

I came to U.S.M at a friend's recommendation and was pleasantly surprised at the quality of work and price charged. I went in for a quote without an appointment with the intention of coming back for the work, but when the owner showed me what he found on inspection, he said he could complete the repair while I waited at much less than I anticipated paying. He took the time to check the exhaust from the engine to muffler and showed me that there was only a small defect in the system. This is an older car, and I suspect some shops or car dealerships would have indicated that a full replacement system was needed. I appreciate the thoroughness of the inspection and the honesty in evaluating my issue. Going forward, U.S.M. will be my "go to" shop for exhaust issue diagnosis and repair.

First time here! I drove from Norwalk in hope of a fair priced repair.The service techs showed me that the entire exhaust , from the engine to the muffler , was a total disaster! The owner came in and showed me what they could do to install a new exhaust system. They did it in 2 hours while I sat in the waiting room! Charged me a very fair price and I was headed back home 1hour and 45 minutes later! GREAT! Midas would have charged me close to 2k…but This shop charged me a third of that and did the work quickly! Very very fair!

Hands down the best Shop in town!!! Went in for an exhaust tip welding, and it came out perfect, the owner and the workers are the best! The job was done fast and precise, for the best price!! You won’t regret stoping by to get right.

I towed my car here it was a horrible experience. They had my car for 4 days which is ridiculous.The owner couldn’t find the part I needed at a decent price and told me to go to the junk yard to get the part. I got the part which was an intermediate shaft. I paid him cash for the labor and thought my car was fixed correctly. A day later my car broke down again in the middle of the street and it was the same problem. I got my car towed to a different mechanic. He told me they misdiagnosed what was wrong with my car. It was the axle that was broken not the intermediate shaft. I wasted my money and time on a part I didn’t even need. I didn’t even waste my time going down there to get my money back because the owner probably wouldn’t he even give it back to me. Clearly the mechanic has no idea what he’s doing. They basically scammed me out of money.
