If I could give this place zero stars I would but sadly I actually have to give it a rating. So where do I even begin... I moved in with my husband after getting married and this apartment and management have been nothing but issues. First it started when I had my guide dog move in with me. The management argued with us about needing a pet fee even though per the fair housing act a landlord cannot require a pet fee for a legitimate service animal, including a guide dog. After fighting with them on this they finally relented which should NEVER have been an issue in the first place. Secondly, our downstairs neighbor created issues for MONTHS before we finally notified the apartment leasing office that he would bang on the ceiling when we would make reasonable amounts of noise including vacuuming during appropriate hours of the day and letting the dogs play at normal hours. After notifying the leasing office of the issue they required an AUDIO RECORDING to prove that it was actually happening and then had the audacity to tell us to keep the noise down because he worked from home. Completely unacceptable. We are allowed to live in our apartment! Thirdly, we did not have a working oven for 2 months until they finally decided to fix it. During this time there were maintenance teams that would come but wouldn't be able to solve the problem and on NUMEROUS occasions they didn't show up at all despite telling us over the phone they would. Finally, the hall light in the building did not work during the nighttime and it caused both my guide dog and I to fall down the stairs. Thankfully neither one of us was injured but I was horrified that this was not fixed. I am disgusted at this apartment complex and urge anyone to stay away from here. Find somewhere better. Trust me there are better places to go unless you want nasty neighbors, unreliable maintenance teams and difficult management.

As a former long term tenant I strongly recommend not moving here . I only stayed as long as I did because I am a creature of habit and don't like change . While living at Fieldside it was one bad property group after another , and the property managers will hide from you and never return a call . Many summers while living at Fieldside the grass would not get cut in a timely manner and would look like a jungle at times. The property group not keeping up with the oil was also a major issue over the years and I was without heat and especially hot water many, many , many times . The Acoustics at Fieldside are also really bad so you will here your neighbors basically all the time . And the greatest thing of all is the apartments are moldy ! I had mold in my bedroom and bathroom . Trust me, Terrible place to live ..... Look elsewhere

DO NOT GO HERE

Was told they had 1 bed + office space, 2 bed + office space and 3 bed apartments along with the rent for each. Scheduled a tour for a two bedroom once it was 5 weeks until my desired move in date (per the women I spoke to). Somebody named Jeisy was to be there and let us in but she never showed/responded to calls or texts and didn’t have a voicemail option. Called the number I had been using and was given the Info to a lockbox and told to enter by myself but there was no key in the box. Spent 30 minutes on hold only to be hung up on and told to reschedule while they find the key. Show up the 2nd time like I was scheduled (still no Jeisy) used the lockbox again but when we got upstairs there were men in the apartment renovating!! Showed up the 3rd time (STILL NO JEISY) lock box key doesn’t even open the front door, we called the same woman as usual and instructed to try the slider door in the back. Apartment was beautiful (2 beds with the office space like I was told). Sent the application in and then informed it was actually recently renovated into a 3 bed for 1900 a month and that they didn’t even have 1 beds at this location!!! After going back and forth found out a 2 bed should be available sometime after Feb 1st that needed to be renovated and asked for my application to be changed to reflect the two bed like I’ve asked for from the start. Started paying my deposits and on February 1st reached out for updates. Found out they never changed my application and had me set for the 3 bed way outside of my budget and then rented out the 2 bed I was thinking was mine this whole time!!! THEN tried to blame me for all the constant mistakes despite text message proof and they would ‘kindly’ rent me the 3 bed for 1800. The 3 bedroom was ready to rent when we toured in December, marked my move in date as February 1st NEVER ONCE was contacted stating this apartment was ready and to start lease paperwork until I emailed first!

My experience at Fieldside has been AMAZING. I looked at many places before choosing to sign a lease here and I have yet to regret making this choice. The new renovations has me falling in love every time I enter my apartment.

I have had the best experience with the property management as they have been very responsive and helpful from the very beginning starting from scheduling my tour!

I promise you won’t regret moving here!

Don't even think about renting these apartments. They never answer the phone. I was living in those apartments for three years. they never finished fixing it. they always said that they were going to go and they never showed up. Every so often the oil runs out. and it took weeks to put it on. It is the worst place you can live. To collect the rent they are nice. But not to return the deposit. I haven't lived there for 6 months. and I'm still waiting for my deposit. They find for any excuse to keep half of my deposit. And every time I call to see where my money is, they don't answer the phone or email.

Do not be fooled by this place! THEY ARE LIARS AND THEIVES. they have been telling my boyfriend and I we’d be getting our refund check for over 3 months now and have not received it! They’re disorganized and never get anything done! If you have a maintenance request? It’ll get done 2 weeks later!! When we lived here our water heater broke, and they gave us the run around for days about it getting fixed! We couldn’t stay in our apartment for two weeks because we couldn’t shower! The manager changes more than you’ll change your underwear, and they’re newest is a liar, and she’s rude! I’ll never live anywhere owned by Detail Management LLC again! I regret ever stepping foot on this property because all they have done is give me headaches!!

If you are looking for a new apartment steer clear of this place! It's "run" by Detail Management LLC. The management is impossible to reach even during office hours. You won't get a call back from them either. Personally, I experienced so much incompetence while living here. 1. A lock out, where no one came after we called and we had to punch in a window screen to enter. 2. A burst pipe in a neighbouring unit that was flooding the entire basement/laundry facility (this was during the winter, when all tenants were told to keep their pipes dripping, but maintenance did not do it for vacant apartments). 3. The basements flood every time it rains so they have the washer and dryers on wooden pallets. 4. A faulty hot water heater that was never fixed, even after many calls to management. I ended up having to get the Groton building department involved before it was addressed by management. (A whole winter boiling water on the stove to give my child a bath) 5. Speaking of the building department, it was only when I had them called out that they discovered Fieldside Apartment's units were not up to date on fire codes. 6. No lawn care, causing grass to grow over 2ft before it was cut. 7. Flea and rat infestation on the grounds, likely due to their disregard for upkeep of the grounds. 8. No salting of the sidewalks, during the winter months, which resulted in my neighbor breaking her ankle. (She couldn't even sue because of the insane stipulations in the lease) Read it thoroughly if you, regrettably, decide to possibly sign. 9. No shoveling of walk ways or driveways after snow storms. (When they finally hired a snow removal company my car had at least 4 feet of snow plowed behind it so I couldn't leave). 10. No security! They claim every building has a working intercom and buzz in system. False. I lived with absolutely no way to tell who was knocking at my door (my intercom didn't work and there was no peep hole in the door). 11. Incredibly rude employees! I once called the main office, because I couldn't get a hold of my property manager. When I asked "to whom am I speaking to" the employee retorted with "why do you need to know my name?" Completely unprofessional! 12. Upon my MUCH ANTICIPATED move out, the property manager set a date and time to meet for the final inspection. After over an hour of waiting we, miraculously, got in touch with the manager and she told us she was in a meeting and wouldn't be coming. The maintenance crew then met us (an hour after that) to walk through our unit and to be handed the keys. 13. After moving out (and informing them of our new address immediately) they broke the law and didn't return our security deposit within the required 30 days. 14. After finally receiving our check, it had zero interest added on to it! 15. Detail Management LLC tried to improve their reviews here with fake 5 star ratings. I contacted Google and got them all taken down! They are conniving and only interested in making money!! They are the definition of slum lords!!! Beware!! (All of these experiences were before the Covid pandemic btw)

I rented a room from one of the tenants there because he sublets and there was mold all in the bathroom and in my room. Not sure if all the apartments are like that however it wasn’t an enjoyable experience and that gentleman I was staying with didn’t help. Also, when trying to call the office no one ever picked up and they are hard to get in touch with. The parking there people just park anywhere including the handicap spaces even if they aren’t. So that being said I still to my rating and wouldn’t go any higher. Not sure if WiFi is included or exactly what is included but it says and it’s not clear.
