I recently brought my son's 2020 Camry to Toyota of Wallingford for a full inspection and to fix a windshield wiper issue (caused by a rookie mistake—trying to forcefully lift the driver's side wiper without putting it into maintenance mode). They quoted me $125 for the inspection, plus whatever it would cost to repair the wiper arm.
I left the car there, and about six hours later, they called with the results. To my surprise, they told me everything on the car checked out—brakes, fluids, tires—all in great shape (I knew the car was in good shape, but for some reason, I was expecting something to come back as needing repair). As for the wiper arm, it turned out that a bolt had just come loose, and they fixed it at no charge. I was honestly taken aback by that! I was fully expecting to pay for the repair and was more than willing to cover the inspection cost, but their honesty and customer service really impressed me.
I've purchased from them before (we have a 2013 Toyota from this dealership), so maybe that played a role, but either way, their service was fantastic. I also love that they provide a video walkthrough of the inspection, showing exactly what they checked. Plus, they offer rides to and from your home if needed—another great touch.
Overall, I’m extremely happy with my experience and will definitely look to Toyota of Wallingford first when it's time to upgrade our 2013 model. Highly recommend!

Tim is an amazing salesperson. That day we were feeling distraught (about car issues) and decided that we should just get another car. We walked into their office and Tim was just accommodating. He worked with us around our budget and potential car models. Everything was so easy and we walked out of that office feeling relieved. Recommend this place!

Terrible Customer Service. We purchased a 2023 Ford F150 from this dealership on Sept.9, 2024. Financed it and paid it off on Sept 23, 2024 (2 weeks later). We have made over a dozen calls to the dealership and spoken to everyone from our salesman to the dealership manager to the finance manager trying to find out where our title is. (The finance company told us they were still waiting to receive it from the dealership). We continue to get different answers each time we call. The last time we called the dealership over a month ago and spoke to the finance manager we were told the mistake was corrected and the title was being sent to the bank and we should be receiving it shortly. Today we called the bank, they still have not received it from the dealership. A bank case manager has been diligently working on this and on January 10, 2025 was told by Jessica, at the dealership, that the Dealership titled it incorrectly and it was now sent to a 3rd party for correction and it should be sent to the bank within 30 days. This is absurd!!! This is the 1st and last time we will ever buy a vehicle from this dealership and I would never recommend anyone buy a vehicle here.

She listened to everything that was of concern to me and made sure I was completely satisfied with the care and manner in which the truck was treated. Her communication and understanding of my situation was excellent, giving me complete confidence and lack of stress. Thank you Joanna, you're the best!
I want to acknowledge that Master tech Kevin K highly exceeded all my expectations! He ensured that every detail was paid good attention to and ultimately resolved all concerns in which I brought the truck in for. He is absolutely professional, highly skilled and shows true passion and confidence in his work. His approach, diagnostics, care, and execution of tasks is second to none that I've experienced with a service department. #1 in my book.

I am having a terrible experience with this dealership. I was told that the Tundra I JUST purchased was a Hybrid and found out a week later that it was not. The salesperson Denny walked me through all the great things about the hybrid (battery warranty, added power, regenerative braking and so on). I was sold a vehicle based entirely on lies and conned into making a purchase. I have spent days calling the dealership, going down in person, spending DAYS of my time trying to rectify this. I never get called back. I’m always the one trying to speak with people. I have asked time and time again to talk to the owner and am always told he isn’t available. I would hope after being swindled for tens of thousands of dollars he could talk to a customer about it. Please don’t spend your hard earned money here. There are many other honest Toyota dealerships in the area.
