The lady who helped me get my star drivers license was the sweetest! I was in there 5 minutes and the lady who helped me was so professional and personable. I was actually dreading it and I walked out with a smile.

I will be starting a petition to change the way the probate office functions. My mom passed away in December with a Will.My sister, with multiple personality (diagnosed) who has been extorting and mentally abusing my mother for years went a couple days after funeral and lied stating there was no Will,I can prove she new there was. When I found out I notifiedJudge Cain office of this they granted her personal representative. She has used this as attempt to keep from finding correct Will she has smuggled and hid assets she has gotten rid of all sentimental things of mine and my brothers as well .So the judge set court date for May there will be nothing left and what good will it do to sue sister that my mom has been paying bills for for over a year? Only good thing is dept of human resource is fixing to put at least 4 felonies on sister for how she did my mom

You need to take the whole day off work to do anything. Up to 4 hour waits for something as simple as renewing a tag.
Certainly we pay enough taxes for them to hire enough employees to meet customer demand. Everything else is fine. The people are fine. Once you finally get through the line.

In comparison with Limestone County, our neighbors to the North, the way this place is setup and ran is atrocious. Whoever is in charge here should surely look into adding some type of queuing system for the tag office. Also, maybe more than two employees to serve the entire county would be helpful.

First and foremost no signs stating which horribly long line you need to be in. Waited got to a desk after a half hour in the shortest line to be told we cannot help you here you need to go to the other line. Waited an hour in this new line to get to the desk once again and was told you need paper copy of insurance which all insurance carriers now use electronic auto insurance cards not to mention after being told I owe them $200 cash. No other form of payment. Not sure what sort of scam this is but will now register my vehicles in another state. Not one of the employees provided the slightest bit of assistance or customer service. Everyone is extremely rude and the customers whom seemed disgruntled...now I know why. Someone needs to step up and change these processes, policies, laws, and the people who are being paid to enforce/provide these so called services. Thank you for wasting my time and tax payer dollars.

We were there 1 1/2 hours in line just to have our tag transfer to another vehicle. We had to sit on several VERY long church benches outside the office. Get more help. It's not like we don't pay enough taxes that you can't hire more people to work in this office.

I took off work to go to the courthouse for licensing needs. I get there only to be told the entire department is closed for training. I missed a day from work and was not able to accomplish the task I desperately needed to get done. I can’t plan my schedule around the courthouse training schedule. It seems it would be wise to have two days of training one for half of the office while the other half works the other for the next half and leave the department open. However if I was there to pay a fine they had someone there to accept that payment don’t you worry about that!! To close an entire department and turn tax paying citizens away for training is absolutely ridiculous and no one will be held accountable I will have to use another off day because of the courthouses inability to plan responsibly for the citizens of this county.
