Very very friendly staff. I said very twice because I mean it. I hard challenges with my debit card because I didn’t have a US address but the staff (3 of them) were very courteous and we figured out a solution together. One told me specifically “there’s going to be a way out”. He said even if it meant shipping to whichever country I came from they will do it. Moreover this was on some very cold day with terrible weather. Another was glad to offer me assistance with connecting to the WiFi. Small favors that made my experience very good.

Super friendly staff, Sal in the fishing department is awesome! Helped me pick out a new fly rod and had a great conversation. Super honest about everything. Definitely check them out, he even gave me one of his secret spots for some great views and fish!

Price match NOT guaranteed. If you find a better price on a gun elsewhere that matches exactly Sportsman's criteria listed on their website don't bother thinking you'll be able to come into a local shop and get that price matched. I was told by the two individuals at the gun counter that they do not price match if the online retailer in their approved section has the item on sale, only if they list the original price as less than Sportsman's price. What kind of price match is that? Isn't that the entire point of a price match guarantee in that when the LISTED price, even when on sale, is less the company will match that price? Guess their "guaranteed best prices" is just false advertisement and a complete lie. Used to love this location, but I guess there is a reason the parking lot is always empty now.

Went to the special balloon pop event, that has different discount percentages. The website showed that you could get 2 balloons and use the best discount if you were a member. I was told at the entrance by an employee that I had to have their credit card to get 2 chances. Nowhere in the website does it say that, and the website directs you to the free rewards membership, not to apply for a credit card. The employee pointed to a sign say 15% off. A group of other customers were also complaining about this, but the employee would not even listen to any customer. This feels like a bait and switch. The company should stand by what their website shows. I would have bought much more if the store honored what is on the website. I will not shop at this store/company again and you have lost a long time customer. ( I have| been going to sportsman's warehouse for a very long time, but just recently been a rewards member).

There are better stores out there that have much better customer service.
Also, if an store event like this is going on, you would think that there would be much more employees to handle more customers, but 3 registers were closed and not enough employees at the gun counter. It was like the store was running on a "skeleton crew". It was impossible to find an employee out on the store floor.

I had never ordered from Sportsman’s Warehouse before. I purchased an Osprey backpack for my Dad’s birthday present.

I got a bow case instead.

I called customer service. The lady was nice enough. She offered to send me a return shipping label (gee thanks) and then told me I was welcome to place a new order for the backpack. I clarified that this would mean I would need to give them another almost $300 dollars for the same backpack that I already paid for.

Yes.

Unfortunately I don’t have an extra $300 lying around. If I did I am not sure they wouldn’t just send me another bow case!

I am sick and tired of companies treating their customers this way. I am going to reward companies with my business who will make things right.

I got an email within 10 minutes offering me expedited shipping on a new order. I’m still waiting for the return label…

I called customer service again the following day in response to the reply to this review. I did finally get a return label emailed to me however nothing changed except I wasted more of my time interacting with this company.

As an avid fisherman—born the right way, with a beer in one hand and tight lines in the other—I thought I knew my way around a tackle shop. But stepping into the world of fly fishing? That was uncharted water for me. My sons have decided to dive in with me, and my oldest asked me to get him set up.

So, I strolled into Sportsman’s like I knew what I was doing… until I met Sal in the fishing department. Within minutes, I realized just how much I didn’t know about Colorado fishing. The guy is a walking encyclopedia. But more importantly, he took the time to drop a knowledge bomb on my son, giving him what felt like a full-on guided river tour—without ever leaving the store.

Sal didn’t just help us get gear; he set my son up for success. And if that wasn’t enough, he even helped me brainstorm some new mountain lake trolling ideas. The guy knows his stuff. If you want small-town fishing knowledge while standing in a big-name store, go see Sal. Just make sure your socks are on tight—because if you’re not careful, he’ll blow them clean off.

10/10, would get schooled by Sal again.

Do not listen to their website. I thought I was being smart and browsed the website (with the filter set to this location) and I thought I found 2 glocks i wanted to look at. Walked in confidently and was told that they had NEITHER of the glocks available, and that both had been sold earlier. I'm a first time gun purchaser and the staff was not even helpful at all, matter of fact they were rude and acted put out with me. One gentleman tried to sell me on getting another one sent which wasnt helpful as I was trying to purchase and get my background check right then. Another woman who informed me that both glocks I wanted had been sold was very rude and told me so in a matter of fact way as if I should have known. I will NEVER shop here again not even for ammo. Save your time and go to Cabela's or a gun show.
