There is a hidden gem in Old Saybrook for the printing of your photographs called Jay's Photoshop.

I have used Jay's photoshop for the last several years for the printing of my photographs to exhibit in art shows throughout southeastern CT. My photographs are usually in black and white and the results were always crisp, sharp and clear on glossy paper. I was very impressed and pleased with the results.

Jay was recommended to me by another artist who had a show at The Florence Griswold Museum in Old Lyme. Her exhibit included soft sensitive photos of Tiffany Farms printed on matte photography paper. They were beautifully done.

Jay is a master of photoshop and I have seen the incredible, amazing results of his restoration of old photographs. He is very knowledgable and highly skilled.

I would highly recommend Jay. He is friendly, interested, and takes the time to discuss with you your photographic needs.

I had about two dozen old VCR tapes I wanted digitized. I sent them off to a company (and spent a lot of money) to have this done, but was told they the tapes were damaged I brought them to Jay (wish I just did this to begin with) and he converted them all for me and did it quickly too. Jay has always done a great job with with my color prints from digital files. I was also happy to learn today that Jay's prices on new Canon equipment is the same as the big discount houses! No reason not to buy your Canon gear here and support a local business. Lots of frames to choose from and he offers color enlargements and mounting services too.

Jay's Photoshop in Old Saybrook is a terrific place to develop your photos. Jay is friendly and helpful. He walked me through the process to use his web site in order to upload photos from my home computer to be printed in his shop. His web site was easy to use and convenient. The photos came out beautifully- very sharp and with great, true to-life-colors. My husband and I will definitely be returning to Jay's for all of our photo needs!

I've been bringing all my photo printing buisiness to Jay for 15 years or more. He does the best work around and will always do whatever he can to be sure the print looks the best. He goes above and beyond to satisfy customers. I have sent my images to an online company for prints and was not as satisfied. I have recently ordered many 8x10 photographs for photography shows and had several satisfied people buy those prints. If I could give 10 stars I would. Jay is the best around and one of the nicest buisiness owners I know. Can't say enough about how excellent Jay's Photoshop is.

Jay's is the best, hands down. His charisma and welcoming attitude are matched only by his knowledge of photography and film development skill. He is an authorized Canon dealer and his prices are terrific.
Whether you are just beginning to test the rich waters of film photography or a seasoned pro with decades of experience, you need to stop by here. He has an epic selection of vintage film cameras and accessories - every single item I have bought (and there have been quite a few now) has been minty and works perfectly. If he gets something that he knows is faulty, he is always up front about it. Further, what he asks is usually much less than online stores such as eBay or B&H. No where will you find better value in vintage cameras. He is always bringing in more used stuff too!

Bottom line: This place rules. All hail Jay's Photoshop.

Jay did an amazing job by deftly removing the corner of a house, bumper of a car and a gutter from a precious photo. I can now feature it on my wall! He resized a special photo from the 60’s it is larger with zero distortion. Jay is top notch.
