Called and spoke with Hal about removing a threaded stud from a steel cylinder. It was threaded, I just was not able to remove bc I didn't have a vice/tools on my van to get it out. I got a call later that afternoon telling me it was ready to pickup and when I got there I was told the charges totaled $200!!!! This was nuts bc I've had this exact same service done in 4 other cities and have never paid more than $75 and topically between $25 and $50. When I questioned Hal he agreed to charge only $100 and told me not to come back bc he charges $75 an hour. The guy is either a liar or inept because there is no way in hell an experienced machinest spent over half an hour to do what I paid them to to. So I guess it's Hals standard business practice to charge double/triple his advertised labor rate.

Excellent service, extremely friendly people. Broke a specialty gear while on a fishing vacation. With no notice they got a new one machined and got us up and going in a few hours. Saved the trip. Thanks.
