Over many years, we have purchased children’s bedroom sets, living room furniture and recently, the bedroom set that took us 30 years to find. The DePaolo’s have a wonderful selection of quality furniture and they were just great to work with over so many years. They are very focused on helping you to get exactly what you have envisioned.

Initially we were greeted by Val, who allowed us to look at sofas on our own. Then he got Pam. She proceeded to drill sergeant ask questions. Without waiting for our response. She told us what we wanted, not asked us. She would not stop talking or leave us to discuss anything. She would not allow us to browse fabrics at all without her being there and non stop talking as to what we wanted. We walked out. Shame as we had cash to buy the floor model, or order that day. When a customer asks you to leave us to discuss or think, you should honor that.

Lovely furniture but was treated rudely. Sad because I wanted to by an entire bedroom set. I guess if you don't look like you have money you're not worth their time. Never judge a book by its cove.

I was never treated so rudely by a salesperson in my entire adult life. Initially I was greeted by a gentlemen named Val who was delightful and courteous but his sister Pam took over and she kept telling me what I wanted instead of allowing me to explain what i was looking for. Every time I tried to ask a question she became short with me cut me off. She would not allow me to look at samples and insisted on handing them to me based on what she thought was best. She was rude and abrupt and told me I had too many questions and she could see they would not have what I wanted and asked me to leave. They are supposed to be the only John Thomas distributor in CT and I knew exactly what I wanted from the JT website but was not allowed to explain. I don't know how they stay in business!

HORRIBLE They are incredIbly rude and have an okay selection. The old lady is straight up crazy and will treat you with the most disgusting attitude. It is no wonder they’re going out of business!
