The prices for photos are ridiculous I paid $60 for (1) 5x7 (2) 3.5x5 and 8 wallets for one child. With Barkdale I paid $70 for 2 of my other children and I get (1) 8x10 (2)5x7 (2)3x5 4. (2)5x3.5 and 1 digital download. I don't even get a 8x10 or a digital download with this company so why am I paying double the price I really wish my child school went with another company. I know I don't have to buy school pics but come on theyre memories and that's what they leech on.

I recently received the senior picture email and, like any parent, promptly clicked the link to get started. After reviewing the packages and the Cheshire location, I tried to book a date. That’s where the headache began.

There was only one available date during the first week of school. How is this possible? I reached out to the representative, Jessica, via live chat, but her responses were unclear and lacked customer service skills. After 40 minutes of frustration, I was finally connected to another representative, Janine. She was more helpful and explained that the email link defaulted to the in-school sessions, which is why the available dates were so limited. However, I learned that we couldn't book an October date because the session wasn’t open yet, despite the school already scheduling the second session.

Janine guided me on how to toggle the website to book a studio session, and I appreciated her assistance. But when I tried to select a studio appointment, there were no available dates in September either. This is highly concerning, especially since school hasn’t even started, and the email just went out today. Scheduling pictures should not be this difficult.

It’s clear that the studio is overwhelmed and disorganized. With the yearbook deadline in December, it’s hard to see how seniors are supposed to complete their pictures with only 20-45 minutes allocated and just two in-school dates, the last of which is at 1:45 pm. Moreover, the lack of available studio dates in both September and October is unacceptable. I am now on hold, having already wasted 30 minutes trying to speak with someone. Thankful to Janine for responding via chat about when September sessions will open. This is an incredible waste of time that I will never get back.
