My 76 year old father was trying to get admitted here for morphine addiction. He called ahead and asked if they had an available bed and if they could take him in and they said yes. Upon arriving they wouldn’t take him in because they needed a letter from his doctor saying they won’t prescribe medication to him anymore. We would’ve gladly provided this once the doctors office was open but since it was a Friday we couldn’t get it in time. They refused to take him in without this letter and turned away a sick older man who was begging for help. They should be ashamed of themselves and don’t deserve to be called doctors.

This is a helpful place in my opinion. When you're feeling so so ill they'll get you back on your feet. They are kind and generous. If I didn't need possible surgery on a very painful shoulder. I may have went from the detox straight into their rehab program. Good food endless juices and snacks. Restful place with kind staff

Awful. My mother was experiencing severe DT withdrawals..had a seizure. I was only informed when she had another patient help her use the phone to call me. When I called to speak to someone in charge the very rude and ignorant receptionist not only had no clue and hung up on me the first time but when I called again to speak to someone to make sure my mother was being sent to the hospital and the ambulance was called she informed me the building was being closed down and the phone system was from 1970 so its taking some time but they're working on it. I am absolutely disgusted and outraged with the way they neglected my mother and basically told me they could care less about their job because it was closing down anyway.

They have came a long way the staff is much better than it has ever been, the only ONE ISSUE is when you call for a bed they always tell you nothing is available but when you arrive it’s first come first serve there is usually beds open although it is such a hard place to get into! They make you feel as comfortable as possible while being their , they also give you the choice to choose from suboxone, or methadone.. I have been on Xanax for about a decade now, and they also treat for benzodiazepines, which is great because most places won’t take you if your on them, the food isn’t that good but it’s works , u can use the phone all day and night until 11pm which is also bed time you get to shave I believe every Tuesday or Wednesday, they have meetings that are helpful and I love going to the n/a meeting not so much the AA, you will have a therapist & he or she will help you talk when need too of their in & if you choose to go to a program they highly suggest you do they will find the best possible fit for you, & provide you with a ride, although being in benzos is like a 6/7 day stay being on dope or fent is a 5 day stay..upstairs they have a rehab for 28-30 days! I wouldn’t suggest their rehab though, just detox.

Rude receptionists. No hello, just “Blue Hills”, no goodbye just CLICK. Is it so hard to use words? To be pleasant? What’s wrong management? Can’t ypu find decent people to work there?
This is a facility where people go that need help, can only imagine how the staff treats the patients.

So i told the nasty reception is ok my friend dont need to go to blue hills , if they are so rude to sober people who is traying to bring them business I CAN ONLY IMAGEN HOW THEY TREAT THEIR PATIENTS. You can tell the only reason why this place has 5 starts is cause friends n fam and/ or employees guve false revuews of 5 start note emoty reviews with no comments #fake .
