They dont have a store to walk into, and they still manage to treat you like a criminal. Of course, they charge you money first. Now Im short $650 for the unforeseeable future. I have to wait for a refund instead of the order Ive wanted for years. Even if I buy one of their tools from a 3rd party, I can't buy any additional tools for it. What an awful customer service experience. So much for supporting an american manufacturer. It was the perfect tool to occupy me while I recover from surgery and when I go back on the road trucking. Worse yet, their website is terrible, and because of that, they ask for pictures of your ID and credit card!!! I dont want to deal with medical bills and identity theft. Im not sending personal information to some obscure 3rd party company. Did I mention they charged me money before they decided not to send me the order? If your going to flag people, how about you dont bill them money first?

If there was the ability to do more stars I would. My apologies for the long review, this is the only company I've written such a long review for and I've only written a small handful of reviews which the majority of were written in anger.
I've had a few interactions with their sells department most recently codie, I really appreciate foredoms costumer service they have always been friendly and their products are top notch. My TX is currently my only tool that I would want vengeance if someone broke or stole it. Everytime I'm done it goes into a padded safety box. I will admit I bought a clone sr to start with and I was impressed with it When I first looked into these style of tools I thought the same thing as a lot of people there's no point in buying the real one when a clone is just as good in terms of power. Let me stop you right there because it's absolutely not even in the same ballpark as the real deal. I debated on ordering one month after month, finally I got fed up with breaking the inner shaft of the clone time after time( I do alot of cylinder head porting usually with pneumatic or electric die grinders) I decided to order a foredom brand inner shaft to see if the build quality was actually better. i opened the package and just the build quality of that alone before even attaching it had me on their site ordering the real tool. I can't tell you how wrong that assumption is that their just as good. I've had that one inner shaft port 10 different engines 2 of which the heads were cast iron not aluminum plus it's ground through a bunch of welds (e6010s 6011 6013s 7014s 7018s 8018s flux core .035 and even a few tigs) why tigs l? well i just started learning tig and my teacher is a book. Well that same shaft is still in one piece. Seriously the quality of foredoms tools in comparison to clone is night and day. Save your money for a bit longer if need be. This whole situation made me revaluate everything when it comes to my tools. The one store that rimes with "never great" used to be my go to store for tools ( the clone foredom was a Amazon order not there) the real deal foredom has made me stop using them unless there is absolutely no other alternative in a emergency situation otherwise I will now wait for the better option to return to in stock. That saying you get what you pay for is so true. Buy the higher quality tool and cry once and move on, buy the cheaper one the frustration will continue. The cheaper tool breaks you think oh well I'll buy another one which will possibly end up in a landfill somewhere, you buy the quality one and there's a high possibility it will out live you. Thank you foredom for changing my way of thinking. I will definitely be a life long costumer as long as y'all keep doing what your doing.

I had an old flex shaft tool that had a malfunction due to lots of industrial overuse. I thought it would be an expensive repair but when I took it apart it was really simple and the parts were inexpensive as well. Back in order now
