I don’t usually post anything on social media, but I want to make an exception. We were in the market for a new gas grill and happened to visit Stony Hill Hardware in Bethel, CT. What an exceptional experience we had! The attention we received was like we have never experienced. The managers/owner’s knowledge of their inventory was incredible. They took their time to instruct us on the different grills, pros, and cons. We received such an individual attention, it was unreal. We will be buying from them again. If you are in the market for a new grill or any hardware related items, I strongly recommend you visit this local business.

I rented a Uhaul here and was helped quickly and with a smile. The store is well-stocked with essentials and you'll be out the much faster than you would be at Home Depot or Lowe's while also getting to pet the very sweet store dog.

Your classic local hardware store with A+ small town service (I mean that in the BEST ways - the entire staff is top shelf and super friendly), the prices are very good (at or below the big box stores), and the selection is fantastic.

Bonus: they’ve got an old pup that is there most/all of the time to greet you. The last time we went he brought us a toy! =)

They’re also a U-Haul rental location with a good range of vehicles.

Always one of my favorite hardware stores. They even have a dog! The staff are friendly and knowledgeable and they'll always point you towards whatever you're looking for. I come in from time to time looking for various nuts and bolts and I have to say, their selection of such things is very good, even down to M3 and M4 sizes. They're also on a main road very close to my house so it's quite easy to get to.
