My fiancé and I are fairly new to Torrington & have been looking for a local church. We finally found Torrington First Assembly of God! The Pastor is amazing and super friendly, as well as the community within. We also met Luis & his beautiful family as they introduced themselves and made us feel very welcomed. Now we have a church family 5 minutes from our house & look forward to joining fellowship & being apart of this beautiful church weekly. This church is a wonderful place to hear the word of God and to enjoy the wonderful praise and worship team God truly uses Pastor Clark to administer wonderful sermons they also have a wonderful school affiliated where Christian children can learn first about Christ like ways what a blessing! I give this church 5 stars due to the warmth of the congregation, Good singing, wonderful sermons oh and guess what they also have kiddie Sunday service so while you are I’m service your kids will be learning in their service as well.

I like the pastor, he gives a good message but 40 minutes of music and 20 minutes of the word? I would rather have it the other way around!

This a wonderful church with down to earth parishioners. I go there once a week to meet with a recovery group; they have been incredibly kind and generous in allowing us to use their space.
