The directions I got from Google maps were obsolete. The road is so bad that weeds are growing through the pavement. Furthermore, the road is closed to traffic so we couldn't access the river on this location. Google must update these directions. They are not good anymore.

Still one of the best rivers in the state for trout fishing. Need to watch signs on shore for changing spawn areas....both fly fishing and pole fishing results in great fishing for New England. Tubers are thick around Satans Kingdom during summer months....

The "Take me there" directions bring you to the wrong place, on the website, if you just click it! Or at least on my phone it did!
Once we finally got there, it was a little bit of a chaos site. It isn't "organized". You can prepare, change, eat lunch, if you packed it, etc, at your car. I'd recommend paying, waiver signing, and getting stamped first. You can go whenever you're ready. Once you pay, you'll have access to change rooms and bathrooms, so that's first. You choose your tube from a mountain of them! I liked the one without the hole in the middle! That way, I could put stuff in my lap and not worry it'd drop through. (My waterproof camera!) You can bring water guns! They said as long as you use courtesy, (obviously) and don't lose it in the river. Bring a lifejacket with you... I did, so it was comfortable, and wasn't gross!
Once you're ready, you go to the side, get last minute instructions and walk down to the river. You really are on your own. I fell out in the 1st rocky, fast rapid, section, before even out of the gate! Could still see the bridge! Thank goodness, Evan the lifeguard was stationed right there! He jumped right in, and was calm. My panic, was evident. He himself, was calm and though probably in danger himself, with slippery rocks, rapid water, helped get me back into my tube! Saved my life, because though, I know not stand up, the 1st thing I wanted to do was get up! Evan, you're a credit to them! Thank you! I told his boss, too, at the end, that I was grateful he was there! The rest of the trip, was fun! Water fights, scenery, hawks, geese, and some weird ducks, with mohawks that ran on water, they swam so fast! The water level was low and slow in most places. A lazy river! A few places it was fast, but shallow.
Overall, it was a fun day!
