My husband and I recently downsized and moved to a smaller home. We needed a shed to store all of our outdoor stuff. There are many Shed Businesses to choose from. We chose Carefree Shed in their Clinton location. Barbara, the manager was amazing. We were limited for space with the size shed for our small yard. Barbara went above and beyond to design exactly what we wanted. She was honest, took the time to explain all the details and communicated with us every step of the way. The shed got delivered and it is PERFECT! The delivery team was just as amazing as Barbara. They were extremely thorough, efficient and got the shed done in a timely manner. Also, cleaned and picked up the site leaving it spotless.
We couldn’t be happier with our new shed! Highly recommend Carefree Sheds ( Colchester/Clinton) to anyone looking for a shed. They’re FABULOUS and very reasonable.

My husband and I would like to personally thank Care Free Small Buildings for their excellent craftsmanship and customer service regarding our new 12 x 20 shed. We had previously visited a couple of other shed companies, and did not have a great experience with their customer service. Then our neighbor mentioned that a friend of his went to Care Free and told us to check it out. We are so glad we did!

From the beginning, Matt was kind, patient, and knowledgeable. He answered all of our questions and made us feel not only appreciated as customers, but that our business mattered to him. The quality of the shed we received was not only much nicer than other companies we visited, but more affordable as well. On top of quality and cost, Matt's delivery was weeks faster than everyone else which we greatly appreciated. The delivery team was also quick and efficient.

We are so incredibly happy, and will be using Care Free again in the future.

Our entire experience with Carefree builders was excellent from beginning to end. We were never pressured in any way and they kept to their word to the T when they gave us the delivery date which is extremely hard to find nowadays! It was like stepping back in time and getting service from a family run business who aim to please and who use quality materials without cutting corners. We bought the cottage style shed with the two French doors and the shingle siding. It is so beautiful! We have a flower farm and use our shed to make our bouquets. We are more than happy that we decided to go with Carefree. We also purchased our chicken coop from them a few years ago! 100% our “go to” place for outdoor building!

Carefree Small Buildings provided us a 10’x14’ Cottage Shed this past October. The folks we dealt with at Carefree were all very friendly and efficient. They customized our shed colors and materials to exactly match our house, and also customized door and window style and locations for us. Our site is highly sloped with many large rocks/boulders. They came out to our site and planned and executed site prep and quick and error-free install. The shed is beautiful – we’ve had many complements. Highly recommend.

From start to finish, working with Carefree was easy. They provided great advice on what would work best for us. Given our yard, we had to build on site which was done in a day with no damage to our yard! The shed is the best quality - having shopped around to other shed sellers. We love the choices that made it a perfect match to our yard and for our storage needs. The finishing touch of a cupola and a whale weathervane just adds to its upscale look. 10 out of 10!

Twenty years ago we purchased this Gazebo, this year we had to finally replace the roof. It survived a flood in 2003 - as soon as the waters receded, we power-washed it, it's been leveled a few times, and stained three times over the years and is still like new. We added a ceiling fan, refrigerator, cable TV, internet and it is our triseason oasis ... thought you might enjoy seeing it.
