While visiting Mentone, we experienced some truck trouble due to a bad oil sending that we just installed 3 days prior. The employees were very friendly and attentive. The manager came out to check the truck with the scanner. He was very knowledgeable and even gave us some more advice on our model based on his own experiences with the same. He reassured us that we were safe to drive it, even on the 2.5 hour drive home. He was very polite and friendly which made us feel even better. If we lived here, this is where we would take our business.

William and a bunch of others on this crew saved my life. I'm from Chattanooga and broke down on the interstate while traveling. Was able to coast it to this location. I had a very specific car that had a very specific problem that needed a very specific part. The team didn't hesitate and found the part, drove to get it and had me back on the road, home safe in a short matter of time. I'm forever grateful!

This is a rating for my experience today only. I scheduled an appointment online for a brake change that they weren’t able to do. This wasn’t their fault as there doesn’t seem to be any real time communication between the local shop and the site that allows for appointments to be scheduled. My concern was having to pay $93 for an oil change. When I get my bill I see they gave me a synthetic oil upgrade which was $36 on top of the $27.99 oil and fluids charge. I asked the tech if I was supposed to have synthetic oil and he said it’s recommended for my year/make. Recommended doesn’t mean mandatory and I have always been asked in my previous visits. Other than that I had no problem with the service or the speed at which they provided it.

Express Oil Change & Tire Engineers are ideal for your quick, convenient, and complete vehicle maintenance and service. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable and who doesn't love an oil change with the convenience of NEVER leaving your vehicle, right? A word of caution to anyone with a BMW or any other foreign-made luxury vehicle: Trust me when I say that oil changes and service are best left to the dealership. The cost is the same (if not less in some instances) and it's NO shortcoming of this facility, just a lesson learned after an oil change on my BMW X5 led to an "Engine Malfunction", 2 hours on the side of the road, a tow truck bill, and an additional $150 to discover there were mistakes made with seals and other vehicular issues I am completely ignorant about. Ultimately the fault lies with me as I should have known better, but ALWAYS go against your gut and take it to the dealership on these occasions! ?

I have been at the Fort Payne Express oil change to have my oil changed on numerous occasions. It has always been a good experience but yesterday it was an excellent experience. I went to ask them to check the air pressure in my tire, my light had went off, and to check my oil because I had engine work done recently and I could occasionally smell oil. Bad news, I had a nail in my tire and my oil was a quart low. Other bad news I was 2 days away from payday. But the good news is God is good all the time and he sent Tevor and Anthony to help me in my time of need. They got me fixed up and on my way and I will be forever grateful that people still care and I will continue to be a loyal customer to this awesome hometown business!
