What to do when you have a flooded basement , have been removing water for days with buckets/shop vac to find that your basement keeps filling up? Call a plumber or call Paul? Answer: Call Paul! I started by calling a local plumber, received a quote for 7k to install a sump pump . I was so desperate for help I almost caved and had the pump installed. I had never had water in the basement since it’s been built (17 yrs) so I couldn’t understand why I would all of a sudden need a pump. When I realized I have a curtain drain issue (I had no idea I even had one ) I started my calls to several companies. Three companies came out to give me advice. Advice but no solution! I decided my last company to call was All things sewer and drain care. I spoke to Paul and decided to give him a try. He showed up on time, confirmed with me that he agreed it was a drainage problem, started the process on how he was going to solve my clogged drain, walked me step by step of what was about to happen. I was very nervous, I had to trust the experts which is sometimes hard for me, lol
Once I gave the green light to start, my problem was solved in about 1 hr. He phoned a friend to come with his equipment to dig and find the curtain drain, brush was removed , a trench was made and within ten mins the drain was found. The amount of water that poured out was unimaginable! When I saw all the water come out I couldn’t believe the amount of relief I felt! I was very close to loosing the entire home due to this issue! A sump pump would have not solved the problem!!
This is just part one , part two will be repairing the drain pipe, using a camera to look into the remaining pipe to make sure nothing else is blocked. This is truly the longest review I’ve ever written. I’m so glad my google search lead me to Paul. He is very knowledgeable , professional and efficient . I highly recommend All Things Sewer and Drain Care! Trust the last number on your list! It is the BEST!
