Whatever you do stay far away from this shop. This shop scammed me out of 750 dollars. I own a 2008 bmw 335i with direct injected n54 engine. It is a project car of mine that does not get driven at all. I have been working on it for years. About two years ago I was searching around for a shop to do a walnut blast which is removing the intake manifold and spray compressed air with walnuts shavings to clean the valves. It is a big and messy job. Which is the reason why shops charge over 1000 dollars to do it. It was a little strange that ACI only charged me 750. I now know why. I recently started installing more performance parts in my car and removed the intake manifold to see the job they did. Turns out they never did the walnut blast. What they didn’t know was I do all the work on my cars and have been working on cars for years. I work in a body shop as well for 16 years. They probabaly thought that I would never remove the intake manifold and see that they didn’t do anything. My valves are filthy like they have never been cleaned. I have 100k miles on my car and 100k worth of carbon deposit on my valves. If ACI did the walnut blast my valves would be clean since the car was never driven and even if the car was driven a little the valves still wouldn’t look like how they look. Now I see why they only charged me 750. They were planning I never doing the job I guess. I’m writing this review so other people know what type is shop this is. I ended up buying the equipment and did the job myself. Was a pain and a lot of grunt work went in. Also when you do this procedure you notice a huge difference in throttle response. My car felt the same after ACI gave it back to me. This first picture is the way my valves looked after aci gave my car back and the picture of the valves cleaned is after I did the job and how the valves should look after a walnut blast. I know I am writing this review a long time after the fact but like I said no mileage was put on the car. Just the mileage to take it home. I almost forgot to mention when I asked him for pictures of before and after he didn’t send me any. I think his name is nick. If it’s possible to give zero stars I would. It is not possible to have this much carbon build up from driving the car home. The first pictures will show years and years worth of carbon build up. Once again this is a project car and has been sitting for multiple years before I decided to remove the intake manifold and see the valves. Regardless of how long the car has been sitting the valves should still look clean if they did the job. Which by the first pictures you can see they DID NOT do the walnut blast. It’s obvious and once again no mileage was put on the car and if they say there was mileage put on the car they are lying. It’s obvious this company doesn’t value there customers.

The true ONE STOP SHOP. From basic repairs to custom made. ACI does it all. Including custom engine calibration, basic Maintenence and repairs and everything in between. I've taken my car here dozens of times and I am always happy. Custom wheel refinishing to super car work, it all gets done and it gets done flawlessly.

I brought my 2018 c63 in for a diagnostic on my exhaust, after ACI Dynamix was recommended by a friend. I spoke to Brett who was very friendly and accommodating, and they were able to determine that a certain piece was loose. They recommended I take it to my original tuner (my car had already been tuned by a different shop years prior) so that it doesn't throw any codes should that part be removed. This was definitely the right recommendation since it took my tuner over 1 week to actually fix the problem. Afterwards, their wrap shop lead (Mike) mentioned he could help me rewrap parts of my car that I had unwrapped. He quoted me a very reasonable price for each panel/body piece. His team's work is of very high quality and efficiency (I drop my car off at 10am and pick it up at 5pm same day). Mike and Brett are both very responsive over the phone and reasonable when discussing scheduling, cost, etc. In fact, Brett used my diagnostic bill as a credit towards my rewrap, which is one of the many reasons why I will be bringing my car back in the future.

Have been recommended ACI by a number of friends and have seen their work on other cars for years. They didn’t disappoint. They installed springs on my Tesla and I’m insanely happy with the result. Everything was easy and straightforward and the team at ACI do a great job with explaining things and helping the process go smoothly. Their pricing is also very fair and very much in line with other performance shops. Being in CT very few shops do what these guys do and you won’t find anything like it elsewhere. Their customer parking lot proves my point. 👍👍

This shop is simply spectacular. They have a mustang dyno, and have a staff that are very kind and courteous. I'm a very pleased customer and will be headed back soon to get more work done on my car. They can do anything and everything, just call 'n ask!
