We got a Whirlpool Duet washer and dryer. I have to say the washing machine is one of the worst I've ever owned. It doesn't even turn or barely move the clothes, the water lvl is a joke. I have to trick the weight so it can add a little more water. I have to wet the clothes so they are heavily just to get the water lvl to go over the top of the clothes. My clothes are never clean when they come out because it doesn't have a tall agitator. I'm not even joking...the clothes barely move. So if it barely moves you know your clothes are not getting washed. It doesn't matter if it's a small load or a large load. It still does the samething. I wish I watched this machine wash a full circle when I first got it because I would have returned them both. Please don't waste your money on this useless machine. I would give it a - 10 if I could

I bought a brand new Maytag washer in 10/2020. Two days ago my washer suddenly stopped working mid wash. I called Maytag and they called a local company. They called me back to schedule a service. When the service men came they stated the control and striker were broken (electrical panel). Total cost would be $549.89. THIS IS A 2.5 YEAR OLD WASHER. So I call Whirlpool who now owns Maytag to see if I can get it covered and after over an hour on the phone I was told no. I thought this was bad customer service on such a young washer. The part according to Maytag and the repair men should last 7-9 years. I would never buy either brand again. Also within the first year where the bleach goes in all rusted. Poor quality. Poor customer service!!
DO NOT BUY WHIRLPOOL OR MAYTAG PRODUCTS!! THEY DO NOT STAND BEHIND THEIR PRODUCTS!
