Used to be a great place but as of recently it's gone downhill. Mechanic makes promises of getting vehicle done in 2 days. Instead it's not even worked on for 2 weeks, and then proceeds to use foul language and yells at customers despite false claims by their cashier. They do not keep contact or follow up with status of vehicle. I have phone recordings of how they speak to customers. Communication is key and they lack that. I don't know what happened to the business because it used to be my go to place.

Update response: My exhaust that needed to be bolted had nothing to do with welding. It was 3 bolt that needed to be taken off and replaced. I even gave the mechanics the parts. Dave assured me it "Would be done in a few days", then it was, the following week then, the week after. So his response is a blatant lie.

Anyone who is looking for those who care about your car services and situation, this is the best location. Shawn and David go beyond measures to fix your car, and make sure it is up and running the way it should.

I had my clutch replaced this past year through Harlan Automotive and it ended up not working correctly (mainly because it is an older car with other issues). As frustrating as it was, Shawn and David did not give up on fixing my car to reassure I was able to get around. They were able to replace the clutch quickly and resolve all other issues.

People who care - this is the best place to be.

Tried to schedule a time to meet to purchase a car, and was rescheduled multiple times, only for a non-response when I asked when she would be available and then the car was sold. Pretty unprofessional.

I stopped in one day not long ago to take a look around, because a friend of mine had referred me here years ago. Josh, the sales manager was Honest, Friendly and Flexible. He did not try to hide any deficiencies or make any false promises in reference to my Jeep I purchased from him. One should keep in mind that these vehicles are not under warranty. You will want to be competent in evaluating the vehicle you are considering purchasing, and assessing any additional costs you may incur to fix any problems because after all, it is a used vehicle. Great Experience! I got what I paid for... 1998 Jeep Grand Cherokee - Strong V8, Looks nearly new inside and out with minimal expenses as of 6 months. I will buy here again, I definitively recommend Harlan Automotive

Would recommend that anyone stay away from here for purchasing a vehicle. I asked specific questions concerning common mechanical issues on the vehicle I was looking at and was reassured that they had checked those all and the vehicle had no issues whatsoever. Fast forward to owning it for a week, and having driven it only home, and it was leaking oil and coolant, still not sure what they did to hide that when I was test driving the car. Ended up costing me an extra $6k+ in repairs within the first month I've owned it, and most of the issues were things I had pointedly asked about before purchase. When I reached out to them hoping for any kind of help with taking care of the issues they originally said didn't exist, the offer was to trust them to look at them and fix the problems. Sorry, but if you can't be honest from the get-go, I'm not about to let you screw me over again. These guys are not trustworthy. Stay far far away. Hopefully my experience can save you the trouble I've had.
