Russ and the rest of the A1 Rental Team are the best around. I have been renting here for years and the service has always been great and they keep the equipment well maintained. They rent everything from hand tools to trailers, and everything else in between.
Plus they are locally owned and operated, so stay away from the Big Box rentals and rent from A1.
Unfortunately they closed their doors to the rental gig, I will miss this one for sure!

I rented an airless paint sprayer from A1. Not only were all the gentlemen in the store knowledgeable, but they were polite and very nice to work with. They ensured I had no questions and encouraged me to call with any questions or issues I ran into if they arose before I left the store. When I returned the sprayer they were just as kind and confirmed that I didn't have any issues. Also, their prices beat all competitors nearby, including home depot. In the future when I need to rent a tool I will be returning, even if it is out of my way to the project location. Thank you!

Wow what an amazing company, these people are fast and very much friendly and attentive. I will definitely use these guys again. I have my own business of hauling trash and tree's and debris. I rented a mulcher and it was great I got my 9 piles of trees all mulched up. They delivered the mulcher on time which I like because I'm a right on time kind of guy. I appreciate the kindness they gave because it's hard to find good business people that appreciate the business of their customers. I will definitely be back! Thank you!

Russ and the guys are my go to for equipment and advice. If you need to rent anything, odds are they have it! They have been around for a long time and I'm sure it's because they're knowledgeable and easy to work with.

Special addition to my previous review:
I had huge plans over the holiday weekend (Labor Day) to move road base and sand as well as compact the prior to prepare it for the former. Long story short, I had picked up the equipment on Sunday just before A1 closed, and about two hours later the starter on the plate tamper failed. I called and left a message for Russ to get in touch with me as soon as possible. Russ returned my call in about 10 minutes and made specail arrangements to return to the shop to swap me into a working tamper. I had about 45 minutes of down time but could have just as well been down for the count for the entire weekend. My hat's off to Russ and his commitment to superior customer service. If you rent anywhere else you're just crazy! A1 Rental Rocks!!!!

Rented a Toro compact track Dingo with 18" auger and 4" trencher attachment for a time-critical mountain project after speaking with several Home Depot rental yards where the employees knew nothing about the gear they were renting. The guys at A1 Rental took the time to explain the features and operation of the Dingo, gave me some helpful hints for hydraulic tool removal/installation, carefully loaded and rigged the tools to one of their trailers, and off I went. The machine had obviously been very carefully maintained and worked perfectly throughout a very intensive day of use. We got a week's worth of excavation done in one day, and not a single issue with the equipment, how often can you say that? Best $400 I've ever spent, and glad the $$ went to the guys at A1 Rental and not some big box store. A1 will be my go to for all tool rentals from now on!

All in all a great little locally owned rental yard. I used to live nearby this rental company, though I have moved across town I still find myself making the drive over to A1 for things. Russ is great to work with and almost always has what I need or something that is close enough to get the job done. I am a former electrical contractor and when I ran into a project that required tooling exceeding my capabilities, A1 was on the speed dial.
My needs have not always been the norm with the latest project requiring the relocation of a rather large safe. I tried to get around the drive down to Wheat Ridge with other rental companies, but I still ended up in Russ's rental yard loading pallet jacks and hitching up to one of his tilt-deck trailers. (Yes he has trailers for rent too). Some of the stuff is not bright and shiny new, but that's because it gets used!!! I can't remember ever bringing anything back to him because it didn't work.

I have been renting 8 ft. tables for my yard sales for quite a few years. Like everything else, the price of rentals has gone up. This year they charged me 12. for each table... I rented 3. I knew what the charges were before I took the table, however, upon getting tables home to use, I had to wash them. I don't think I should have to pay to rent dirty table. When I returned them, they added on a 12% Damage Waiver. So 3 #%$%&* table were just over 40. for one day. I won't rent from them again.

I have a green Neuton lawnmower that needed repaired. I first called the only lawnmower company in the Denver area that Neuton recommends for repairs. They were not interested in taking more customers. So, I searched the internet and found A-1 Rental had worked on these lawnmowers. They gladly took me in. Russ, Chris, and the gang were so nice. They got the job done at a very reasonable price. I have since used the lawnmower twice. It works fantastic! Thanks Guys!
