Nice people but inconvenient hours, low customer service, incompetent admissions and financial aid dept. Student accounts Lady is a veteran and very helpful and librarian assistance is on point!!! Overall wouldn't recommend this campus or Community college especially for first time college students.

Westminster campus is beautiful. Everyone is really helpful here, if you can't find your way or if you need advice and guidance on your education path. It's affordable and there are so many classes and opportunities provided. Highly recommend FRCC as a starting place for any degree, certificate, or courses for personal interest!

Very unprofessional staff, professors are very nice for the most part, most of the professors are grossly underpaid so class turns into opinion class very often.

Speaking with the Financial Aid office is a for sure way to ruin your day, they are appointment only and are very difficult to work with. They act as though if they prevent you from receiving aid, they will directly benefit.

If you are a military veteran please do not attend this college. Please save yourself the headache. The school or the staff do not care about veterans. This includes the veteran adviser Tracy Bower at the Larimer Campus . He is unpleasant to work with and makes your presence seem like an inconvenience . I never expected to be treated so poorly by an establishment I pay for. On top of the poor treatment, I have experienced staff and student try to justify why veterans shouldn't receive more help or aid than what the GI Bill provides because it is not fair to the other students us as veterans get the benefits we earned.

As we speak the college is experiencing a very low retention rate for a reason. Nobody enjoys working with the administration, it is not very inclusive at all despite the information they present on their website. I think the retention rate is directly impacted on the treatment and experience they provide to their students.

Good luck if this is your prospective college!

The office is ran as if we are still in the peak months of COVID-19. Impossible to talk to anyone in the financial aid office in person without scheduling weeks out in advance. When you call or email, your problem is passed around without every getting an answer or solution. We had financial aid staff simple ignore or forget our final approval for student loans for months. The front desk staff are not there to help you. They are there to simply give you pointless email addresses or phone numbers and send you on your way. What an embarrassment to higher education.

Graduated with an AS in Mathematics last year and my experience at this community college was one of the worst Ive had throughout my life. Many of my professors were excellent, but everything else was thoroughly terrible. The administration and advising here really made my time at this school a nightmare.

The academic advisors are either clueless or a part of a scheme to syphon as many loans from students as possible. The fininacial aid office is downright hostile. The campus is always under construction and classes being offered in person seem to have all but disappeared.

If you plan to do a transfer program I highly recommend only listening to the advising from the institution you plan to transfer to and no one else. The advising you'll recieve from FRCC will be a lie, incorrect, a waste of resources, or possibly all three.

The staff here are very unprofessional. My oldest was thinking about taking some computer science classes to see if he would like to do what I have done as a career for the last 35 years, Regis 1989. My oldest is 9 hours away from his BS in business, at an accredited University, and the people at FRCC in admissions start asking him how he is going to pay cash for his tuition. Asking him if he thinks he is smart enough to go to school there. Mind you my son also works full time for a local municipality, and makes very good money while finishing up his current degree at the other University. I can't believe the snobbery for a junior College, you're not Ivy league folks, treat people with respect and be nice.

As a former student please do your research before committing to a certificate program because you'll be told that once you complete the required courses for that specific certificate you're good to go which is a lie. What you have to do is pick one certificate that you want to be certified, then you'll have to take two more courses and pay the state of Colorado an X amount money for just one certificate to be certified. If you ask how much you need to pay the state, they will say look it up yourself.
