We were advised by Jess Uphoff to take out a bridge loan to facilitate the purchase of our home. She assured us that we could re-cast the loan as soon as our home sold two weeks after. This meant taking out a GIANT loan initially with the assurance that we would only have a large payment for the two weeks until our house sold. Our house sold three months ago. Since then, our loan was sold to a new company, and now we are faced with an indefinite wait before we can re-cast. The only suggestion is to deal with the new company who has no interest in helping us. Meanwhile, we are burdened with an excessively high mortgage payment that we would have never agreed to. We will have to drain our savings to make this work.

Jess also promised us a no cost refinance in the next 18 months. Since the loan has been sold to another company, this is no longer an option. Based on our experience, I cannot recommend this company.

Very professional and organized. I think(?) we got a great rate but it’s very complex and they know so much more about this industry that I struggle to understand their motivations especially with such a significant part of their revenue coming from sales of mortgages on the secondary market (as I understand it). Of mortgage lenders, Jessica and Oliver were great to work with. I was definitely a more difficult client to work with than most and they were patient and thorough. Fingers crossed we look back in five years and feel the same!
