I have purchased a Saw Stop table saw, a Festool track saw and various other tools from Gulf Coast Tools. Their prices are generally pretty good and their selection is excellent! The team is friendly and very helpful but not overly so (for when you just want to look around). They are a great local resource as opposed to the big orange and big blue boxes. We are lucky to have them here in lower Alabama.

Love this store! Fair prices and a wide selection of tools that you wont find at the larger retail stores. I could spend hours lookin around this store and often walk out having spent way more money than i had planed. Highly recomend this store.

First time visit. Probably my last. Came in to see about a new SawStop saw and was in store for 20 minutes. Only customer for the last 10. Not one time was I offered any help at all. Workers were too busy talking amongst themselves to worry about sales. Not my job to come find them. Really disappointed in the complete lack of customer service. You can really tell when employees are paid by the hour. I will just purchase online and have it delivered.

This is a legit, full-service tool store.
Very broad selection of books tools from off-brand to expensive European brands like Festool and Mirka.
They’re very knowledgeable and accepted a return when I was dissatisfied.
They facilitated factory repair of an expensive Festool track saw.
And they help with saw blade sharpening as well.
This a great local resource.

Went in this place about a year ago. Honestly my first impression was the place must be some kind of overstock outlet for what looked like quality tools. Mind you without really looking around. Boy was I wrong... This place has things I have actually searched out on Chinese websites, but right on the shelf. And made by companies like Dewalt. Place has a huge array of tools. From real shop tools to super high end hand tools. And everything in between. And if not, they WILL find it. The owner and everyone there are great. So helpful and patient. A girl there took apart my Metabo wet polisher. And between her and another really helpful guy I was able to get it running. They saved me $350. If you want a $49 sawzall you will be throwing in the garbage in two mos this is not your store. If you want tremendous service and surprisingly really great prices on real tools, this is your place.
I actually had more to say but accidentally deleted my earlier draft. And now this stupid phone is causing my hand to go numb. Anyways, great people and a great store.
Sincerely,
Christopher Bella

I am a craftsman of traditional woodworking and at times need specialry tools that you can't find as t bug chain stores like Home Depot and Lowes. Chris and his team at Gulf Coast are very helpful and keep a great selection of name brands like Festool, Dewalt and Makita. Great prices and customer service are top notch!

Gulf Coast Tools stands out as a premier tool store. I'm almost four hours down the gulf south in Baton Rouge, but this place still dominates anything else in my area. They have a tremendous selection of commercial level stationary tools. They also have a dizzying array of goodies for your shop. Whether you are a woodworker, welder, or mechanic you can find something for you here. They aren't out to scalp you either, plenty of small items here for dollars and less. Clamps, router bits, drivers, measuring and marking, and so much more!

Just about every tool you can imagine is here. Mostly centers around woodworking. Several high-end lines here, not your usual ULTA cheap import junk. Of course there are imported items here because they are not made here anymore. Some of the items lathes, large shop dust collection systems, Fein tools Kreg tools. All items had ample stock on the shelves. Helpful staff. Many brass fittings for air line connections in bins not those bothersome plastic bags like Lowe's.
