We have used the same amount of water that we always have, yet they randomly jacked our water bill up for no reason (not sure how they can do that). I thought we had a water leak, but after doing an inspection, we do not have a leak. From a post I read it seems like this is a city wide issue and everyone is experiencing it. The water quality here is poor and has awful hard water issues, not sure why they felt the need in increasing everyone’s bills. They should spend more of their focus on fixing the water quality instead of making an extra dollar. Absolutely ridiculous!

Can’t pay online. Says “Host error”. Don’t pick up your phone. What I have to do? And after all of that you’re gonna charge us more. I’m not millionaire or something, can’t spend all my day to check if your f website working or not. Tell me what I have to do?

Rude lady yelling at me on the phone for asking a question. I think I know who she is since there's only one person who thinks she runs the place and no one can do anything to her. Her name pops up in several negative reviews though.

If I could give negative stars I would. “Kerry Johnson” is an absolute nightmare to deal with. She had my mother in tears for simply trying to understand why they tacked on a $30 late fee for a bill that was mailed in well in advance of the due date. Speaking to a grown women like she is a 3 year old for the entire office to hear is more than unprofessional. It’s tremendously disrespectful and inappropriate. You would think a manager would abide by the single most important practice for any business interaction… GOOD COMMUNICATION!! I highly recommend avoiding this women at all cost, because it is not worth the spike in blood pressure. Additionally, the fee was not waived, as my mother just wanted to leave as soon as possible and agreed to pay the extra. If you don’t want to get bullied into paying extra for water, I strongly recommend seeking this essential element elsewhere.

Wish I could rate with 0 Stars.
Set up autopay online back in October. Got a notice last week that my payments were late and I would be charged fees for not paying October and November. Tried to call and email. No answers. City showed up today to turn off the water. I said I had been trying to pay but did not want to pay late fees that were not my fault and could not get someone on the phone. Finally got someone on the phone and they said "Ah yes our autopay system has issues. But we can't prove you had set it up so you need to pay the late fees."
So you admit to knowing you have a flawed system and I have to pay the late fees? We've never missed payments on anything and here we were about to get our water shut off because the city cannot set up a reliable payment method.
Seems like a scam to nickel and dime extra money with no way for the customer to have any recourse.

I’m leaving a one star review simply because, the ladies spend more time talking to each other than answering the phones. You can never get anyone on the phone, but when you physically go to the water department you see why, they will stand there and talk and just let the phone ring. And then not to mention the lack of tact and customer service skills. It’s absolutely disgusting how rude they are to people. News flash, you work at the water department, you are in zero position to judge others or treat them badly. Just getting water service started was a nightmare because they are not friendly at all. By far the worst water department I have ever dealt with.

Sent in a payment on Bill payer on the 13 of Oct with an estimated delivery date of 20 Oct according to my bank. Check was not processed by the water dept until the 27 of Oct. I suspect it laid around in some ones tray until they processed it. Did a face to face in office with Michael. Wanted me to know how important he was and even though the check was sent in plenty of time to arrive before the grace period ended he refused to reverse the charge. Not a friendly place. Not a good face for the city of Enterprise
Rod Barber. Unhappy customer.

I have had nothing but problems with the Enterprise Water Department. From denying service without an updated copy of my lease agreement to turning the water off because they heard my toilet bowl and water heater filling. It's been a week. I need water.
