Overall a pretty good place to work. I only worked in the spring room and had a positive experience there. The job is fairly simple and can get kind of boring, I will admit, but the benefits at Bal Seal were pretty great. The Christmas party is also a fantastic part (probably the best part) of working there as well. Every now and again HR would also create fun little events (for example an egg toss and a pumpkin carving contest)for us to sign up for as well. I would defiantly recommend working at Bal Seal to other people.

Giving one star since zero stars is not an option. Bal Seal Engineering is a joke. They do not value good employees. They will hire you and then fire you a month later for literally no reason. Yes, it is legal in Colorado to terminate someone without reason. Does it display morals and values as a company? Absolutely not. FOR ANY CLIENT THAT IS CONSIDERING UTILIZING BAL SEAL ENGINEERING - DO YOU REALLY WANT TO BE ASSOCIATED WITH A COMPANY THAT HAS EXTREMELY POOR LABOR PRACTICES? Take a look at all the reviews from previous employees. I'm not talking about the reviews from current employees like Kase Alesana. I'm talking about REAL reviews from REAL employees that have been screwed by this company. If I were a business owner in this industry, I would not be doing business with a company that cannot give humane treatment to hourly employees. Bal Seal knows what they did to me. I have comfort knowing that karma is real. Kase and Chris couldn't even be man enough to have a conversation with me. They had Volt do the dirty work. Imagine that. The management at this Colorado Springs location is terrible. Terrible leadership. Terrible labor practices. Terrible managers and supervisors. Terrible CEO. He seems to promote these bad habits within the company. To Bal Seal Engineering, I will continue to share my experience with your company. I will continue to tell other people how bad you treat your employees. Since you don't want to pay me lost wages, I will climb my way up with the labor board. I hope your numbers decrease. I hope you lose clients. I hope Kase, Chris, Michele, David, and everyone else involved lose their jobs. You can't treat people poorly and expect to live a good life. DO NOT WORK HERE! Everyone has their own experiences and insights, so take that into consideration. No workplace is perfect, and Bal Seal has its own challenges. Some of that is the culture which management is indeed working to change, but good change is slow and gradual as opposed to sudden and jarring. In my seven years of employment, I was fortunate enough to work closely with and for management and executive management and received massive support to advance, grow, and affect change. Working at this company is not for everyone, but if you can find your place here, communicate openly, honestly, and effectively, you too might find it’s not as bad as you were led to believe.

I have enjoyed my time at Bal Seal and I think because our people make the difference. I enjoy watching teams come together to ensure cusomer's shipments go out on time and making the needs of our customers a priority. I love watching employees come together to help those in the community during the holidays. Bal Seal has challenges just like any other employer, but we do our best to hear those challenges and improve where we can.

I've had many great experiences coming into Bal Seal to include opportunity and growth. Management has always been available to talk to directly and work with in various matters when life happens. I feel the company overall is very reactive to concerns brought to their attention.

This job was horrible felt like a sweat shop to be honest. "Numbers do not matter, but quality does." Complete BS. The work environment was impressive at first but became extremely toxic. Problems and gossip nonstop and always one sided. "Better than average pay" false there have been people working there for 10-15 plus years and still make minimum wage slaving themselves just to get by. Sure the benefits and facility was nice but that is all there is to it. What a joke. Through the pandemic management did not even do enough research for our furloughs that many haven't been able to receive any pay because furlough days were too spread out for us to even request anything.

They were a terrible company to work for. My husband worked there for 8 years and they spaced everyone out and you get in trouble for everything little things. They under pay, the working environment and conditions were awful. I had to get my husband on asthma medicine due to the oily mist conditions. We even had a family emergency out of state and he got put through the ringer for taking time for it. Because bal seal comes first.

I would just say through all manufacturing/factories I have worked for, this one is by far the best. Management is great and they actually treat you like a human. I highly recommend anyone applying for a manufacturing job to come here, especially to the spring room. Other departments/rooms, I can not speak for but the spring room was great. I will tryely miss this place.
