I've stayed here twice and had a great experience both times. Clean, comfortable rooms, friendly staff, beautiful views. The location is awesome because it's close to town but feels like you're out in the country a bit, with a wooden bridge connecting the hotel property to the main part of town, and lots of trees and walking trails. It looks like they're in the process of adding some outdoor water features to the property?

This most recent trip, the young woman at the front desk let me check in an hour early, which was extremely helpful as I was on foot with a several-hour gap between my train's arrival and the hotel check-in time, and ready for a nap. 🙂 I had the indoor pool to myself both stays, and enjoyed swimming in comfortable-temp water with a view of Simpson's Rest and the iconic Trinidad sign.

The only downside is the restaurant is a bit pricey (though good food and stellar service), at least for dinner. I haven't tried their breakfast. Overall, a fantastic hotel.

This hotel was legitimately a five-star experience. The staff were friendly. Room was new, nice and clean. Restaurant and bar had great food and drinks. And the breakfast server, Maxi, was fantastic. Such a great vibe. 12/10

What a hidden gem of a hotel. I picked Trinidad randomly off the map on a road trip from Orlando to Denver (after being rerouted from my original drive plan due to ice storms across the plains). The staff was adorable and friendly and the property is fun! Lots of paths to walk the dog (even in the snow) and a cute little off leash area too. I ate at the hotel restaurant and the food was delicious. Service was great all around and the town was adorable. Easy location right off the highway.

The Hilton brand hotels never disappoint and this hotel is in that tradition. Lovely lobby, with restaurant and bar; clean spacious rooms; great view of Fisher's Peak to the south; helpful staff; everything was perfect. We will definitely stay there again.

This was a great hotel. The rooms were very clean and quiet and the staff was friendly. They also have 4+ J1772 car charger that worked great for my Tesla. Its also in a convenient location. I can think of anything that would make this hotel any better.

The hotel was new, quiet and very nice. The beds were very comfortable. The breakfast was not free, but was full service. The view from the windows was a beautiful with a nice walking trail. The historic areas away from the hotel were scenic but had some homelessness there. I would stay again.

Top notch establishment. We weren’t able to get into our room right away but the front desk staff handled the wait with professionalism and kindness. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone stopping through the area. Delicious muffins, too!

A newly built hotel (about a year ago). Love how Hilton is trying to use up space creatively, like the open closet concept. Water pressure was pretty decent. This was the first time we used our digital key to access the staircase and elevators, so a big plus on security.

Hilton should update their website. For example, their website states no EV charging, but they have at least 3 Blink chargers randomly placed in their parking lot (see photos if you need an adapter). That's enough for six EVs. I would recommend adding Tesla chargers since many EV car manufacturers are adopting Tesla's charging standard.

This Hilton also have a laundry room on the first floor (that's not stated on the website either). It's $2 to wash, $2 to dry.

One last thing. You don't pay for parking, but you'll pay for breakfast if you choose to eat here. No free coffee left out after breakfast (normally provided free all day at other Hilton hotels). Overall, a very nice and clean hotel. Friendly staff.
