A majestic structure! Love the architecture and all of the details - to think that it was built in 1888 is amazing. The beauty is amazing! So many different functions through the last century and more.

While traveling we drove into town and were pleasantly surprised at how much the downtown district could potentially offer. I could not figure out where all the citizens were. As night fell I quickly figured out why the City was not a safe place to be. It was horrific and we moved quickly to get off the streets before dark. Many drug users. Trinidad is an unsafe place to visit and should be avoided.

Pete Maldonado and Bernie
Does not respect the first amendment and does not respect the people of Trinidad. He called the police on a citizen who pays taxes (aka pays Pete’s and Bernie’s paycheck to keep his lights on) Pete and the building was caught with holes in the city hall’s walls instead of repairing - nice job on taking care of a public. Bernie has no problem laying hands on other people so it makes me wonder how those holes were made in the wall. The police failed their job on helping a citizen who was just trying to see maps on the hallways.
TRINIDAD CITY HALL DOES NOT CARE ABOUT THE FIRST AMENDMENT RIGHTS.
Let alone they don’t respect the “One Party State” laws which give permission to ANYONE to record without the other party’s consent.
Nice job guys, glad I’m keeping your house lights on for no reason sense you won’t do your jobs. 👏
