We needed transportation for a few days while our small RV was under repair. There's no car rental agencies in Trinidad, but JM was recommended by the transmission shop.
Everyone was very helpful and Pearl got us into one of their used car rentals, which was clean, with full tank and ran well. We returned it a day early in the same condition. No surprise charges, and the deposit/extra day was refunded promptly.
Very stressful to break down away from home, but you folks were part of a great town that saved our day. Many thanks.

Unfortunately I will not return. If you can't get a vehicle in when scheduled, calling the customer would be courteous, this vehicle had other work to be done, now that has to be rescheduled. I was told $38 per tire including the tire pressure monitors installed. I was charged extra for the tire pressure monitors installation as well as for tire disposal. Again, it would have been courteous to know of these extra charges or given the option to dispose of the tires myself.

These guys are so AWESOME!!! I was in town when the check engine light came on in my Ford vehicle. I tried the dealership; they couldn't help me but recommended JM. I was greeted promptly, and Jeremy, the auto tech, was able to look at it immediately. After checking it, Jeremy informed me all about the issue, which was a simple fix of cleaning an air filter, which he did. Then he refused to charge me anything! In this day and age, it is difficult to find such fine people! I can't say enough about how impressed I was. I would recommend them to anyone. If I lived here, I would use them for all of my vehicle's mechanical and tire issues! Thanks for saving my vacation, Jeremy!

Needed some tires for an RV. Sales guy was very helpful and tried to set me up with a good deal. The problem was the installation. They broke the spare tire winch, ruined one of the tire stem extensions, smashed another extension under the hub cap, and allowed one of the duals to go flat due to the ruined extension. Thankfully another shop helped me out and the tire wasn't ruined.

They came with good recommendations but I did NOT have a good experience.

I really do not like rating places unless they are awesome but these guys I just do not know about. They helped me a few years ago with a flat and I was happy with their service and this is why I'm disappointed to write this one. The tires themselves that they helped me pick out are decent tires and the time it took them was ok but I got my truck back and the tpms system was deleted so it has to be re-entered and if you know anything about Toyota's they are the worst. The dealer charges $175. I washed the truck the day before and paid special attention to the wheel wells because I live outside of the city where the dirt gets to know you. All the mud panels were on and when I got home after the tires were installed three of the panels were missing (again, Toyota). These panels are secured pretty well and just do not fall off and why J&M would need to remove them is beyond my understanding. The manager was really good, went through the security footage and said they were not on and he showed me the footage in pieces but I couldn't really make anything out. The technician said they were all there when it left so I just don't know what to think. The truck didn't go anywhere unsupervised since I washed it and I'm dumbfounded to understand. I know it's been a long time since I worked tires, I was a teenager but things must have changed because the weights they used were plentiful and the rim still had dirt on them where they were placed so just got to see what happens there.
I gave them plenty of chances to address the concerns and I wanted to get tires for my Jeep that they never responded too so it is sitting stuck because smooth Street tires just do not work in snow. Just know your needs and check it out real good before you leave.
