My experience at MountainView Cycling has been nothing but extraordinary from the first time I walked in. It is a warm friendly atmosphere and very helpful and accommodating. Kevin and everyone at the shop are unfailingly positive and enthusiastic about cycling and meeting your specific needs. Furthermore, their expertise is evident right away. They love cycling, know a LOT about it, are anxious to get you what YOU want and need and don't try to upsell you on anything you don't. And if he does not have it, Kevin will order it right away. Their service is fast and thorough and they are happy to give advice to help you do repairs and maintenance by yourself. The weekly rides are a real joy and helps you get out and see new places. Just a wonderful place to go whether you are an expert or just getting started.

Kevin and Katie make biking approachable! You walk into their shop and are greeted by warm smiles and a huge willingness to help!

For as long as I’ve known my wife she’s sworn off biking, but after describing the MountainView Sunday family rides and her chatting with Kevin and Katie, she’s mustered enough courage to give it a shot! Kevin fitted my wife with a few bikes and she finally found one she liked! Some pictures of the adventures MountainView has inspired are attached!

The shop is super friendly and carry a wide variety of high-quality gear for all seasons. I love that they started stocking 45North accessories! If there's something you're looking for, and they don't have it in stock, they'll get it for you with a smile!

Can I give this business 10 stars?

Kevin was an absolute gem to work with a huge surprise for my husband. My hubby has a 1996 Trek bike that was a major part of his life up until the bike started to show wear and tear. It was finally retired for a new fancy mountain bike. So it sat in our garage for probably 2 years gathering dust. but he refused to get rid of it because it had special meaning to him. So a bell went off in my head and thought, it would be super cool to rehab the bike as a surprise gift to him for his birthday. We had done business with Kevin several times before and we were pleased so I decided to email him with my surprise. He LOVED the idea of a surprise rehab of a "vintage" trek bike! Even better, he could get it done a LOT sooner and have it ready for Christmas!

I had to be sneaky and hope my hubby wouldn't notice the bike was missing, so Kevin did me a solid and looked over the bike, took an inventory of what needed to be done, ordered the parts, then gave the bike back to me to be delicately placed in its resting spot in the garage until the parts arrived. Once they arrived, I swooped the bike back to Kevin and it was done in record time! I put it back in the garage and slapped a huge red bow on it and surprised my husband with his refurbished Trek! he was ESTATIC! He took it out on the road immediately for a ride and loved it!

I think I need a #1 wife award for this. And Kevin needs a #1 bike shop owner award too!
