Had the pleasure of being accompanied for a tour by Danielle. She rocks! Was really incredible to learn that this is the largest single brewery in the world! Sampled the Coors Light which was the best beer I’ve ever had on draft! Great experience! Definitely check this out if you are visiting Denver and a beer drinker! Loved it!

Coors Brewing Company has been brewing up cold, refreshing beer since 1873 in Golden, Colorado, and it’s got some pretty cool history behind it. For starters, the brewery is the largest single-site brewing facility in the world—yep, they make a lot of beer. It all started with Adolph Coors, a German immigrant who set up shop using pure Rocky Mountain water, which they still use today.

If you've ever cracked open a Coors Banquet, you're in good company—this beer has been around for over a century and was a favorite among miners and cowboys. And here’s a fun fact: for decades, Coors wasn’t even available east of the Mississippi because it wasn’t pasteurized, so people used to smuggle it cross-country. (Yes, just like in Smokey and the Bandit! 🚛🍺)

Coors Light, aka the "Silver Bullet," became a hit in the ‘70s, and those mountains on the can turning blue? That’s not just a gimmick—it’s science! The thermochromic ink changes color when your beer hits the perfect drinking temperature.

If you’re ever in Colorado, the Coors Brewery Tour is worth checking out. You’ll get a behind-the-scenes look at how they make their famous brews and, of course, enjoy some ice-cold samples straight from the source. Cheers 🍻

If you’re looking to do something that isn’t very expensive and enjoyable, this tour is a good option. Overall the tour was pretty good, not as in depth as other tours I’ve been on. It is nice because you get quite a bit of free beer when doing the tour that makes it worth it.

Overall I would recommend, it is cool to see how one of the biggest brewers does it. If you want to see all the stages in depth you won’t get that here, but that is a given because it is on such a big scale.

Tours were booked up during our time together but we still were able to enjoy a tasting! Very organized. Cold, delicious, freshly brewed Coors! Doesn't get much better 😀

If you’re looking to do some awesome bang for your buck beer tasting at Coors Brewery, then come here!

Beer: If you want to do beer tasting without the tour then that’s a good option for trying a few different beers. We did the tasting for 10$ a piece where you were given 3 - 8oz beers to try of your choice. The beer options for this were about 5 of their beers.

Atmosphere: They have a small museum portion for the brewery which is fun to walk through and gain insight on the history of the brewery and then you go up the elevator for the gift shop and tasting.

Price: The prices here for just the tasting is incredible. The pours are great and you feel like you get a bang for your buck.

Parking: There is parking in the area that says Coors brewery tour parking and the attendant will explain everything you need to do so you can be taken to the factory for the tasting/gift shop.

My husband and I did the tasting. We really enjoyed it. The factory tour was booked out until September. We really enjoyed the experience and hope to be able to do the other tour if we ever get back up here from Texas.

We Came back on 4/12/2024 and did the tour. The tour guide was fabulous, as well as educational about the history of the factory and family. We enjoyed my 3 beers with that also!

Good tour covering the history, process, and sampling. Walking tours last about 1.25 hours. Make sure you make reservations before you arrive. At least a week. Or you can show and just get shuttled to gift shop.
