AST saved Thanksgiving! We had a thermostat go out on our Jeep while headed to Moab. AST had us back on the road within 2 hours!

Recommended a great place for brunch and to kill time while we waited. Staff was very kind, funny, and hard working.

I highly recommend using these guys for mechanical work in Vail! Thanks again!

Great experience. We had transmission issues with our 2015 Sienna, and he got us in and looked at. He gave it a flush and a new filter. We had to leave the van for a couple days, but we have had no problems since.

We were heading west on I-70 pulling our camper when the engine started running rough under load. Called AST Mechanics and we feel so blessed that we did. Tomas advised us that we could drop our trailer on the frontage road very near AST. He said he’d be able to take a look at the truck in about an hour. He did that, and let us know we had a bad coil in one cylinder, and also recommended new plugs and a new air filter. He thought it would take about an hour and a half to 2 hours to get done. Within walking distance is a cafe where we had lunch, a grocery store and hardware store where we picked up supplies and a dog friendly hotel that allowed us to wait in their large lobby. Tomas and crew had the truck ready as promised and we were able to make it to our campsite in Frisco and setup before sunset. If I lived in Vail, AST would definitely be my go to shop.

I’ve been meaning to write this review since I pulled out of there in December. I decided to move cross country in my 2003 Hyundai Sonata. She wasn’t as enthusiastic about the move as I was and I broke down on Vail Pass in the middle of a blizzard. I limped into Vail and stopped at the Shell station that was familiar from my years living in the high country. Tomas and his guys went through everything finding the multiple problems that had put a pause on my journey. I can say, without any hyperbole, that it was the single best experience I’ve ever had with a mechanic. I cannot recommend them enough.

This shop is incredible!! Lifesavers. Our 4 runner died on I70 at 1030 a.m. heading home to Black Hawk, CO. It was towed to AST. Tomas had it diagnosed, part ordered, and repaired by 2pm. Back on the road and home by 4. Wonderful mechanics and I am so grateful to them!!!

We were on a family vacation and our vehicle started having some problems. They took the vehicle into their shop immediately! By the time we had finished our lunch the repairs were completed! Fantastic repair and fantastic service! Thank you so much!!
