I believe the roadside diner aesthetic prevents inflation from hitting as hard to food joints like this.

Looks like your everyday lunch spot in a strip on the outside, but then magically time travels to the 1950's highway exit once inside.

Everyone there were pretty friendly, too. Making sure we got our orders in quick and smooth. Then that food came out; They were HUGE! Sure the prices are a little more than your usual casual joint, but the amount you get can feed a small third world country... Like California.

The food is excellent, but with a backhanded compliment, there is too much of it. My pancake was the size of a dinner plate and my companions meal filled an entire large oval plate. We could have shared her meal and still had some left over.

Too much is too much when no plate is showing and the entire plate is filled with food.

As mentioned, the food was excellent with one exception. I like hash browns shredded thin, fried on both sides and presented thin like perhaps a pancake. Mine were piled in a heap and some pieces were crisp and some not. Plus the potatoes were not very warm. They did replace them twice and the last batch was hot. Bit I'd like them to flatten out the potatoes and crisp them.

The café is very noisy and I'd recommend going mid morning on a weekday.

Summary: Very good food; portions way too large to be appetizing, at least to us, and they need to do hash browns in a different manner with more crispness and browning of more of the potato shreds. A minor point - - shred the potato into thinner pieces.

This is meant to be an upbeat review, and I recognize I have some particular preferences when it comes to hash browns and the food portions. On the flip size, the orange juice is actually real squeezed juice from real oranges. Very unusual and very good!

Menu identical to the popular "Doug's Diners. Over-priced very good "diner" fare.
A standout burger is the "Black Betty".
Huge patty fresh grind, with green chili strips, peanut butter, and yes, blackberry jam. OMG.

This is our new favorite brunch restaurant! All the food we tried was tasty and the coffee was solid. They also have a small bar seating area if you don’t want to sit at a table. The atmosphere is very casual and the staff seem quick and friendly. They don’t take reservations so you sometimes have to wait in line for a while, but it is worth it!

I got the avocado toast and my friend got the breakfast burrito. Boy I should have got that. For the $4 price difference, he received 2x the food. The avocado toast has what I would say a “Mexican twist” by having pico on it. I would say for the quality that it’s a bit over priced at $12. As you can see in the photos, the eggs are over boiled. No oat milk, just almond milk for your coffee.

Stopped in for brunch. I ordered the crunchy bird sandwich and my man got the country fried steak. I should have ordered what he did! My sandwich was only ok. There was nothing crunchy about it, and it had no almonds as advertised. The chicken breast was extremely large (otherwise a good thing!) but the texture overwhelmed the sandwich a bit. I will definitely be back to try other items!

This was the first diner I went to since moving to Broomfield. The service was fine and the food good. I am not used to some of the toppings added to the food. It will take some time.

The burger was amazing cooked perfect, the breakfast on the other hand the potatoes could have used much longer they were soggy, the ketchup they use was organic different I wasn't used to the taste. Just a few things to touch up other then that it was amazing. It's a family owned restaurant 3 sister working the front and mom was working the kitchen I definitely recommend this place.
