I requested an order a month ago for my organizations upcoming event and I was told to send over an email with detailed information as to how I would like my gifts. I did just that and did not receive a confirmation email, an order number, no one called to ask for payment information, or if I was picking the gifts up or have them shipped. It wasn't until last week where I realized we were 2 weeks away from our event and hadn't heard back. That was when I called and the manager, Jayne finally decided to send me the proofs.
I had a discussion with Jayne about my order knowing I needed it by a certain date. Jayne gave me all these excuses about how she made our order a priority and that her guys are currently working on it but she couldn't give me a completion date at all. She also said it was my responsibility to contact them for updates and the status of my request. I asked her would she like for me to make a payment she said she would get once everything has been completed. I expressed my concerns with Jayne and she said most of her clients been with her before and know how things operate. As I explained to her several times, you should never assume anyone knows anything about your company and how you operate. I've never done business with Steel Images- our out of state organization has, but that's 2 different entities. I even asked Jayne for someone above her head she said that's the owner Kathryn and she that she didn't have any information on Kathryn except she'd give her number if she saw her. Moving forward, we finally received an email last night saying they do not have a payment from us so they couldn't provide us with our gifts. I've called Jayne 15 times this week, no answer. My boss, the CEO of our organization reached out as well, no answer. Our event is on Tuesday and here it is Friday and we are located on the East Coast. No response to emails, no nothing. I think this company would be highly successful if they customer service wasn't terrible.
