As others have commented, the church was used in the movie "Big Fish", and photography wise, this little church has it all! Great leading lines leading to the church from the main road, and its surrounded by a hayfield with tree-line behind it. Front of the church faces west, so afternoon photos are best, unless you wanna catch a sunrise here, then the sun comes up directly behind the church. I don't know a whole lot about the history of the place, but some of the graves in the cemetery date back into the 1800's, so I'm sure there is a significant level of history here.

Love this Church. Half of my family is buried there. My Grandparents and Aunt use to live right around the corner at 111 and 143. Actually got to see my last name on a my Grandparents tombstone in the Big Fish movie.

It's a little old white church my Great Grandparents went to. It was built in the early nineteenth century and was used by Director Tim Burton in "BIG FISH" , and they shot another movie scene there 4/2019. Movie is unknown. I married my second husband here and they still have services today.
