In short, I loved this place! It was clean and modern, and the bar is a nice place to hang out and meet people as is the hot tub. Lots of fun conversations were too be had. Ryan was the bartender most of the nights I was there and was very nice and good at conversation too. Dogs are allowed, and I enjoyed talking to them as well.

I didn't use it, but they have a full kitchen and a big fridge to store your food.

I had never stayed at a hostel before. They have bunk rooms, family rooms, and private rooms with a dorm-style, unisex bathroom / shower. I choose private, but would have done the bunk once I saw it.

I will definitely stay here again when it fits my plans!

Parking is the only thing that was dicey at times. I got the last spot several times, but at least didn't have to walk from an overflow lot that's .25 miles away.

Absolutely loved it here - my first trip but won't be the last! The location is phenomenal, with an amazing view of the river. It's also a 4 min walk to cute little shops and restaurants. The bed was insanely comfy; I would book a slightly bigger room next time because the room and bathroom were very small, but other than that no complaints. Great service and my absolute favorite part is the outdoor hot tub with the killer view - I could have stayed out there all day!

I love this place! It is very modern and clean and the location is fantastic. Having access to their commercial kitchen is great and there is a bar in the lobby with a comfortable seating area. The night I stayed there was a really good musician. I will definitely stay here again.

The Pad rocks! It feels relaxed and friendly. The building is new age and has a space for everyone to sit back, chill, play board games, share a drink with friends, and chow down on food. I stayed in winter and almost everyone was there for the slopes. By 5-6pm everyone was in relax and recover mode, using the hot tub, the couches, or having a drink at the bar.

A kind FYI to those sharing dorms, some people make noise when they sleep. If you've been in hostels before it might be old news. Bring some headphones or earplugs (front desk has them too) if that might keep you up. The air in the rooms can also get stagnant, and when wet swim suits and towels are hung up it might smell a bit like a pool house. There are fans provided, so turn it on if you feel that is the case.

No matter what issue you have, if you bring it to the staff they will do their best to help. I witnessed the front desk and the bartender help out guests as if it was family visiting their home. Truly a great experience overall.

THE PAD is AWESOME! Thank you to the team entire team for an exceptional hostel experience.

The team always make the difference! Thank you for personal service. Thank you for providing clean environment. Thank you for assistance making this trip Amazing!

The dorm room had comfortable mattress, securable storage and shared bathroom with several clean private showers.

Plenty space to spread out to enjoy your personal time offer plenty sofas and chairs on several levels. The bar area creates a great opportunity to vibe with fellow travelers participating trivia and live music.

The location in Silverrhorne puts you in the middle of summit county where you have access to the major ski resorts and the free shuttle is 10 min walk access to Copper Mountain, Breckenridge and Keystone!

Thank you for the great experience!

Rooms are quite nice for a hostel. Amenities are clean and well-kept. I felt safe as a 30-something male and would feel comfortable with my wife staying on her own as well. They had an open mic night when I was there, which was fun. Good community. Only gripe is the price. If it were a tad cheaper, I would frequent more often.

I have stayed here multiple times since it's early days!!! It's a great place to crash out after a long day of hitting the slopes! The location is optimal for easy access to several mountains. The price is hard to beat too!! Love the vibe in their quiet bar area and great little kitchen area to do your own cooking while you stay there. Oh yeah and a hottub on the 3rd level outdoors to relax them muscles after the day!! Believe me I'll be booking again and again for now and seasons to come!!

I had an amazing stay at The Pad! I booked a bunk bed in the shared dormitory for the weekend, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The most important things you want in a shared space are cleanliness and a friendly vibe, and I definitely found both here. The front desk staff who checked me in was so sweet and polite, and the guy at the bar was super friendly as well—apologies for not getting their names! I also heard that The Pad is in the middle of a transfer of ownership, and I really hope the new team maintains, if not exceeds, the fantastic atmosphere the current one has created. I’m already looking forward to my stay here during the December weekends! Highly recommend it to anyone looking for a welcoming, clean, and comfortable place to stay.
