Since new management has taken over, I’ve had to quit using them. It seems like if you are not one of the new managers D buddies you are at the back of the line. It’s a service business, and I choose to go elsewhere.
When the good lord was handing out brains, he thought the good lord said trains, and took the first one out of town.

I found some of the best products on the market are from family businesses. If you want a great product you need to have a little patience, for good work takes time, and a skill set that many don't have. Hester log and lumber has always been my go-to for quality wood products. Hand sewn, rough cut, or any other mix of lumber. I have a beautiful Trophy Room with tongue and groove, and look forward to updating a cabin with pine beetle tongue and groove.

They did a great job on some half logs I used for stair treads in my log home. Also got some log siding that worked out great. Nice family owned business that does a good job getting exactly what you need.

I asked to have a small order of wood cut for custom railing that I am working on. I was quoted 2 weeks. Week 3, I hear nothing. I call to inquire what was going on. I was told she would check on the order and then call me back. I hear nothing back. Week 4, I call to inquire. I was told my order was too small to fit into the schedule. I was able to find another wood worker who cut the wood for me in an hour. Hesters call me the next day to tell me that wood was finally cut and then became rude when I told her I no longer needed the wood because it took 4 weeks. She ended the conversation that I would no longer be a customer with Hesters. She is absolutely right!
