Extremely rude salesman for Vivant in Colorado Springs. I have a Ring camera recording of him blatantly being argumentative and disrespectful when I told him I couldn’t understand what company he was with (speaking from my phone through the Ring app) and asking him politely to not solicit, he then became argumentative. I would not do business with this company. I am in sales and understand the grind, but there’s no reason to be unprofessional.

These are modern day thieves. Only money matters. The sales people lie to your face about selling and reading the “no solicitation” sign right in front of my door. Proceeded to say he was not selling anything but providing me with information. Yes, information on how to buy their cameras. He came back to “I told you I didn’t read the sign”. I told him he needs to learn to read then. At that point he then tried to make it racial, “are you saying that because I’m b…” (I had already driven away before I hear the full b word) I NEVER mention anything about ethnicity whatsoever. Horrible tactics (they use fear tactics) ie: “You know the kids jumping over your fences at night”, horrible relationship building, communication - 👎🏽, and lying. Blatantly!! They have a huge wow factor, wow I can’t believe they’re in business and not behind bars. Give it time!

We became a customer August of this year. There was equipment already in our home. When the technician came out, he shared the hub needed to be replaced for the existing cameras to work. The doorbell camera was no longer in production but he shared it was working fine. I purchased a protection plan which would remove any install fees associated with replacement equipment and if the window sensors batteries needed replacement.

Fast forward to today, the doorbell camera has started to loose connection and goes offline. I placed an order online for a replacement camera but since the new camera is considered an upgrade I have to pay $99 install fee. This goes against what the protection plan is intended to do. When I’ve called to troubleshoot, I was told a technician would not come up because they show the camera to be working…

When I placed an order Wednesday, the pricing from the website changed after proceeding to check-out. I called and the supervisor shared the 50% door buster was only for the first 200 customers. However, there is nothing on the site that states that, and each time you add to the cart the lesser amount shows. After an hour spent with Angela (manager), she submitted feedback and researched the billing discrepancies. The issue remains with the website, false pricing, and my order not going through despite having a confirmation email.

Today, Friday, I was expecting a technician to arrive between 8-12pm. When I called at 11, I was told the order does not exist and I was not on the roster for install. I have decided to cancel my service all together.

Stay clear of Vivint!!!!! They do not keep their word and working out issues takes a ridiculously long time if even possible. They installed a system in my home and the salesman made promises that the company is not carrying through on. For them it is obviously about the money and the sale and definitely not the customer and their needs.

Most Disrespectful and Unprofessional Individual. Completely disregarded No Soliciting sign that very obvious on the door, then proceeded to argue with me saying that he didn't even see it and he's not selling anything anyway. He then sat in front of my house for 5-7 minutes with his ridiculously loud truck in front of my house. I don't see how anybody would ever wanna do business with people that act like high schoolers when you tell them you're not interested.

Do not use this company!!! I have been a customer for many years had no issues. I was told in August we needed an updated panel and it would be free if we got a camara. We paid everything up front and it's been a nightmare every since. I have been fighting them since August of 2024. I have spoken to so many people I can't even remember all there names. I was told my bill would be back to normal and now it's over $800 because they are over charging me. Do not use them. Fair warning

Melvin came to our house yesterday and was really helpful with placing our cameras in our house and gave us helpful suggestions. And was thorough. We really appreciate his help. Especially after the last guy forgot half of our equipment and didn’t put in our appointment that was needed to bring the rest of it.

Absolutely horrible!
We had them when they first came out and they were great. After 3 years they offered new system, blah,blah for not much more. I was working and the wife was at home. They kept calling back and forth. We ended up signing another contract. We didn't know we were paying two companies! I use to text them often. Now, they are the worst out there. My panels always making noises. We called and they don't care. DON'T USE THIS COMPANY. YOU'VE BEEN WARNED!
