Zero way to set up new service on the phone as they don’t know what they are doing. Online set up was very easy and great. However our bins have never arrived and way past promised delivery date so now we have piles of bagged trash sitting around. Terrible effort by WM

Horrible customer service. Just another big cooperation lying and stealing from us. They claim it takes extra time to empty the bear proof trash cans. They say the driver has to get out and open the lid. Well in some places, that does take extra time because they have the trucks with the automatic arms that grab and dump the cans. But here in Summit County, they don't have those trucks. The drivers get out and open the lid of every can. So why do I have to pay extra money for no extra work?

Skipped pickup with no explanation. Lied about second pickup. But a $12 credit really helps when lots of garbage isn’t picked up. Wm seems to have gone the way of corporate greed and not customer service.

Trying to get any customer service from WM is a lost cause. The chat bot does not work well, service and capability is limited. All website issues make you call the number all the while my bill continues to go up!! Absolute disgusted with the lack of attention to customers!!

I was overcharged for a late payment, but have been on autopay for two years. Unable to contact WM either through chat, or email or phone.

So, after changing my payment method-which was accepted, WM sends me a past due reminder…yet I’m still on auto pay. 🙄

WM is very reliable. Their website makes it very easy to report problems, check on next pickup date and it even gives a 3-hour window for when to expect pickup! They also will send texts when a holiday disrupts your regular schedule to let you know the changed pickup date. I had other services first and there were always little problems along the way—so far, so good with WM!

My first 1 star review ever. This response from a wmcares account is a total joke. Pure damage control, let's sound like we are trying, we care. They do not. Read below, four hours of waiting on hold!

One of the worst experiences I can remember from a service company. We've been trying to cancel the service since February, they just keep billing us. Over priced when we were actually using them to pick up trash. Look else where. Their cans have been sitting on our street curb for months now. They just won't come get them, even thought they've charged us for them.

7/24/2024 UPDATE: 6 months after cancelling the service, still getting billed, still paying it each month. Customer Service number fully admits there's a problem, but has no power to do anything. I must be transferred to billing. I was sitting on hold for FOUR HOURS waiting for billing. It's never okay to allow customers to sit on hold that long. Honestly, I gave up with the billing number, maybe I'd still be on hold. My oh my, this is a terrible company.
