From my first meeting with Darren at Down Valley Design to discuss a complete kitchen renovation to the completion of this project with the DVD team -- including Dylan and Rich Grange -- my experience was 100% outstanding in every aspect. Every single step of the way, the DVD team helped me select cabinets, colors, flooring, countertops, hardware, and even all my appliances. They were mindful of my budget throughout the project and found the best solutions for my kitchen remodel. They were patient, professional, warm and caring and utterly delightful to work with. The entire team was very hands on and I felt like my project was their top priority-- they could not have been more attentive. All their subcontractors were equally as fabulous. Once my project was all detailed they gave me a schedule and then followed it to the date. All was completed on time and as outlined, AND ON BUDGET. They went above and beyond at every turn and made the entire process FUN for me. And i know that sounds unusual, but it's true. I am a professional chef and now i have a dream kitchen i never imagined i could have. It's absolutely gorgeous and functional. My new kitchen and flooring have transformed the entire first floor of my house. DVD really understood my design vision and helped me achieve it. i met and interviewed quite a few contractors and companies for months before i chose DVD. Trust and full service with one team was the key to my decision. They gained my trust in our first conversations and meetings and throughout the project they proved i could rely on them to deliver everything they promised and more. I will say this, it takes a lot to impress me -- i'm still standing in my kitchen looking around in awe at just how fabulous it is. (And i look fabulous cooking in it!). (i live in Carbondale and my home is 1875 square feet- the kitchen is now the heart of my house).

They did a great job with the install of kitchen countertops. Great help picking out the right color. However during install or while in transit a couple of chips were put in countertop and the installer told my wife it was part of the slab color . I was at work at the time of install. I can live with the couple of chips.
Overall great job. Price was a little high for this far downvalley but reasonable.

I will say that I loved working with Peggy on helping me put the whole design together for my bathroom. But there was a lot of delayings in getting cabinets done correctly.But they do not back their products I did a kitchen countertop with them 3 years ago and it got a crack in it they would not fix it said it was heat related from crock pot and refused to fix it. I was NEVER told not to put a crockpot on the counter. Like seriously a crockpot generates a enough heat to crack it. We were told when we bought this countertop it is so easy to fix if cracked or broken. So then we called a company to come out and fix and and they said yes they could but would need a piece of the material used on the counter. Apparently Mark was suppose to give us any leftover pieces for exactly this purpose. Well he did not and it is discontinued now. Was told by a employee that Mark had made cutting boards out of the old pieces laying around. So now it is going to cost us 1600.00 to fix. Will never use this company again.

Excellent Service, a wide selection of cabinets, countertops and flooring. A truly enjoyable experience. Definitely worth checking out if you want to do a remodel on your home!

Poor customer service, after a lot of time and multiple trips to discuss colors of tile, carpet, cabinets etc:, no quote, no call, nothing. If your home is not in Aspen, forget it. Terrible business.

Received a quote for a quartz peninsula and was not provided the cost of the linear/square footage, installation and template price. Was told "well that's the price he gave me" poor customer service
