Highly recommended! D. Wilson has a great reputation of professionalism, solid work, and quick turnaround times. I'm lucky enough to live close to their shop. They had the work complete while I waited (simple pin and weld). Another local shop quoted me 3-4 weeks and a higher price. Very satisfied and will surely return.

These guys know what they’re doing. I had a gas block loosen up at a rifle match and the owner was there and took my upper and pinned that bad boy. Excellent work, and I build a lot of my own guns, but if I do need extra expertise, I’ll only use these guys. They cut and threaded a barrel for me a few years back and it was super high quality. These aren’t fudds. They know how to do actual gunsmithing and are reasonably priced. Super impressed.

Done business with Dwilson twice, both times the work, communication, and turnaround time was excellent. There is a reason myself and many others ship their orders to Dwilson from across the country. Do not think twice, this is where you need to be sending your firearm work.

I don't often leave reviews, but i felt this was warranted. It took me 6 years to gather all the parts to complete my knights M110 rifle. As you can imagine it was pretty important to me. I had purchased a few things off the d.wilson website but never had work done before. Sent the parts to D.wilson for cerakote, gas block pin and upper assembly. I honestly can't express how impressed i am with what i got back! Not only was the coating perfect (even in all the crevasses), but all of my lower parts fit back in the holes without having to reem out any coating. Tape lines were perfect. Not a single hammer mark around the gas block pins. The attention to detail was quite impressive. They even fixed the alignment on my pivot pin hole. Everything looks amazing and functions smooth as butter. D.wilson will be getting many more projects from me in the future. Thank you guys

Sent my entire upper for a P&W. There was an issue with a missing part, I called them and they made it right promptly. The work done is perfect. Will do business with them again.

Sent my 20” rifle length upper for a chop down to 16”+ for a dissipator build. Price was reasonable and turnaround was super quick. Even called me to let me know how the function test went. Work was rock solid, recommended highly 👍🏼

Went in there a while back to get my barrel, pin and welded along with shortening it after telling them what I wanted some blonde guy came out and said no we can’t pin and weld bc it would not come out to 16 inches which I don’t know why it would matter because all I had was the barrel and flash hider and then he says you have to show me your tax stamp for SPR if I wanted it done he also says oh it’s 300 blackout went on the barrel. It clearly says 308. He then proceeded to start arguing a little bit. Sadly, I did give them my business and just let them cut the barrel down to 13.7 and got my flash, hider, pin, and welded somewhere else in the flash hider was a Surefire three prong. If you use all the shims, it will get you to exactly 16 inches. These people do not quite know what they’re talking about or at least what they were looking at. But for the guys downstairs doing the cutting amazing job. Update you must be the guy and y’all don’t know anything. The flash hider is not 2.6 inches it is a little longer totaling to 16.6 get better
