Jacob and the team at Merritt were amazing. They quoted me a fair price for a great product. They were able to make a custom gate for my house just how I wanted and the workmanship on the stair rails is amazing. If I had more places in my house that needed railing, I wouldn't think twice about calling. I have told many friends and family and all who have seen it have been really impressed. Merritt will not be the cheapest, but I didnt want cheap. I wanted quality and their workmanship and pride in their work shows through.

We are so glad we found Merritt Welding & Fabrication! Jacob was fantastic to work with and his team did a great job installing our metal stair railing! Jacob was able to fit our smaller job into their busy schedule and he was always quick to respond to emails and phone calls. They gave us a really great price and the stair rails turned out beautiful! I highly recommend them!

I would second another reviewer's post in that this has been the most professional and trustworthy company we have worked with in CO. I worked with Jacob and Merritt Welding on a residential railing project in the mountains. This required retrofitting custom new railings with existing stairs and wood posts. Jacob met me on site to measure and review the scope of the project. Design was done quickly and some slight modifications were made. Fabrication was completed and then we did a test fit prior to powder coating and final install. The 2 installers who did the test fit needed to think critically to problem solve several issues but were able to do so. After test fit, we were ready for install quickly after powder coating. Jacob and 5 of his team were able to install the railing quickly and professionally again with a few areas of on site problem solving. Jacob personally measured and cut the wood for the wood top on the railing. Merritt Welding cleaned up and left the property in good shape. Several things I truly appreciate about Jacob. First - he is a professional and is easy to communicate with. We spoke via phone, text and email and he was always responsive. Second - his workmanship is outstanding and the end product is exactly what we were looking for. He and his team repeatedly made sure that we were happy. Third, Jacob willingly made an addition of a wood cap to our railing midway through the project. He made everything work and he personally worked the weekend before install to make sure everything was ready and on time. I highly recommend Jacob and Merritt Welding. Excellent customer service and skilled artists.

I contacted Merritt Welding at the beginning of July to discuss a metal railing and gate for my porch. I submitted an email request and Jacob contacted me at the beginning of the business day and set an appointment to come over, take measurements and discuss options and cost. He arrived on time on the scheduled date. He took measurements and provided an email estimate, after discussing types of rails available and their costs. I contacted 4 companies and received all estimates. Not only was Merritt Welding a local (and close to me) business, their estimate was the most cost effective. Jacob had warned me at the time of final measurements that their schedule was full until September but that he could possibly fit me in earlier, as my job was not a big one and that is exactly what happened! By the middle of August, my porch railing and gate were installed! The workers were extremely polite and quick and we love the result. The metal is very strong and it looks beautiful! I can not recommend Merritt Welding enough. It was a pleasure doing business with them.

Merritt did the stair case in my home. The the entire process awesome!!! From the time Jacob came out to measure to the installation, everything was amazing. Merritt Welding absolutely knocked a custom project out of the park for me. I took them something that they have never done before & was given the quality & service that other custom shops specialize in. Jacob was hands down the best customer oriented business owner that I've ever dealt with in Colorado hands down. His staff is definitely up for whatever is thrown at them & offer nothing short of first class professional quality. For ANY custom needs, I fully endorse this business & they've easily earned a life long client. Again, I can't thank them enough.
