I highly recommend these guys for any high quality fabrication/custom work you need. HIGH QUALITY is the key, Nick and his team take the time necessary to do it right. They are the only shop I trust to do custom fabrication right, to put it in perspective, their shop is an hour from my house and it's worth the drive. They put the finishing touches on my exhaust system and gave my ride the look it needed. Ronalee is so awesome to work with and even took me to Starbucks, above and beyond customer service! Don't think about going anywhere else, you get what you pay for.

There are a lot of fabrication shops in Denver, and I specifically chose to work with 485 simply because of their flawless welding/fabrication abilities, and to genuinely make a piece look like a work of art. 485 Designs made a beautiful custom exhaust for my Honda Africa Twin, eliminating the cat… because I ride off-road mostly, I was looking for weight reduction and, of course, a better sound. With the Akropovich silencer and the new pipes, she sounds absolutely incredible.

What I found most impressive, was this was their 2nd fabrication of the exhaust, When I first went to pick up the bike, the newly installed exhaust was beautifully installed and clean, but the routing interfered with the heel of my boot when standing on the pegs (which I frequently do while crushing some sweet Colorado dirt). Not able to have proper foot positioning is critical to maintain control of the bike. I counted it as my error since I wasn’t explicit about this requirement and the OEM exhaust catalytic converter also interferes with proper foot placement (another reason I wanted the custom exhaust). However, when I pointed this out, they didn’t hesitate to ‘make it right’. They got the bike back into production right away and refabricated the exhaust perfectly. They even cleaned up and polished the portion of the headers which were OEM and reused. They also removed and reinstalled the skid plate perfectly (twice). And despite offering to pay for the rework, didn’t even charge me!!!

Truly amazing! They have a friendly staff, a couple of friendly shop dogs, great showroom and a well organized shop. They do beautiful custom work on cars and bikes. There was even a Tesla in when I went to pick up my bike that was having a cracked wheel rewelded!!

Don’t hesitate to bring your custom project here!!! I cannot recommend them enough.
