Edwards Meats is hands down the best butcher shop in Colorado, if not the entire country. My family and I have been loyal customers for many years, and each visit reinforces why we keep coming back. I ordered short ribs for Christmas dinner and it was super easy to go pick up! Even though it was super busy, line out the door, they had someone making sure there weren’t too many people inside and the line outside was well organized with plenty of heaters to keep you warm.

They were SO good and the quality is superb.

We’ve also gotten a ribeye from them, it changed my life. They were very helpful in finding a cut that was both extra fatty in a part and more lean in the other to satisfy both consumers!

Edwards Market, in business since 1962 in Wheat Ridge, is a recent find. And my wife and I are the lucky ones. To call this shop a butcher shop (with its numerous experienced butchers) which it is, sells this shop short. The shop’s selections in aisle after aisle are overwhelming. They have gourmet food stuffs that we haven’t seen elsewhere. And an endless offering of sausages and other meats, including prime beef, both fresh and frozen, rices, sauces, pastas, condiments—you get the picture. The customer service is extraordinary. Edwards unconditionally stands behind everything they sell and I guess that is why they have survived for 63 years.

I have been an Edward's customer for 15 years now, and they never fail to please. I ordered a smoked turkey breast for Thanksgiving, and it was nothing short of excellent, for a reasonable price-I ordered a smoked breast last year from a local BBQ place, and it was twice the cost.
Their steaks are the best in the city in terms of quality and flavor.
Finally, their service is second to none-they are often packed during the holidays, and they never seem to be in the weeds or overwhelmed. If you are looking for excellence in a local butcher shop/gourmet grocery, look no further than Edward's.

I like this shop and want to give it more stars. I asked for an Italian sausage sandwich and it didn't come with chili peppers. I thought it tasted just like a meatball sub. My friend says their sausage doesn't have a lot of Italian seasoning.

This place has to be the THEE best meat market in the entire metro area! Been going here for years now. We moved up to Bailey and still take the time to make all our meat purchases here.
You should see this place around the holidays. It is a perfectly controlled madhouse! They move you along very efficiently.

This has the best selection of fine foods that include the supreme, best, freshest meat, poultry, and fish and all of the fun fixes that go with them. You walk out of there with a beautiful meal. It’s the best value in when I call luxury foods. The price is well worth it, especially if you are trying to be impressive with a special meal.

I wonder if they give the staff happy gas because every single one of them is pleasant and helpful and you just feel like part of the family when you walk in even if it’s your first time.

I got gorgeous filet mignon wrapped in bacon. Don’t forget their steak butter when you get steak there because it adds an incredible flavor to your end product.

If you are a foodie in any way shape or form, this is the “E” ride at Disneyland. Edwards is The Best butcher and poultry shop in the Denver metro area in my opinion.
