I try to support local businesses anywhere I can but unfortunately my recent experience has changed that after going here multiple times/ week. I pulled the trigger on buying a stihl chainsaw with issues and no resolve. Purchased online and picked up the next day in the store. Just the saw. They forgot to give me the accompanying tools and manual. Got home and the chain was backwards with a loose bar nut. Easy fix myself and I even called the store to make sure other saws looked good so no future buyers get hurt. Let’s not forget that the store never started it or looked it over before giving it to me per policy. Just bring it back if you have any issues, I was told by the manger Jeff. So I use it on a few 4” limbs and it does ok. 30 minutes later it’s cutting off and bogging down. I’m not a novice to saws but couldn’t get it working right.

So I take Jeff on his word and bring it back 2 hrs after pickup and Jeff basically said nothing we can do since it’s used with a rather rude tone and didn’t even try to remedy the issue. I could warranty it but the owner won’t be here until later this week maybe. I left. I wasn’t too keen on my rude interactions with ACE or how I was up the creek without a paddle with a defective saw and near no help from the store. The owner reached out to me to take a look but honestly I don’t want to step back into the store. Stihl basically said dang that’s messed up how you were dealt with and is helping me out since the store won’t. Hope no in the future gets hurt with their recklessness.

They've got a little bit of most items store or shelves might be insufficient to accommodate more models (compared to bigger hardware stores I've been to). Staff was willing to help 04/2024.

Jeff cut a piece of plexiglass to perfection. It fit in the window perfectly.
He also took the time to be sure I got the proper caulking and adhesive. Thank you, Jeff.

Extremely rude staff would not let my spouse use the bathroom during her shopping experience. They refused to provide her the bathroom code when she went in to purchase light bulbs. Even when she showed the staff she had set her product on a shelf so she wasn’t bringing it into the bathroom. Staff was accusatory and made her wait an extended period and nearly refused to let her use the facilities. The female staff member implied that my wife was attempting theft or drug use. She called over the manager instead of providing my wife he code to the bathroom. She was dressed well and wearing work clothes. The only thing that we can think of is discrimination based on her appearance and ethnicity. We will never shop at this Ace Hardware again and I suggest any POC and minorities to avoid this location and inform all of your friends and colleagues that this location and this staff is discriminatory and the customer service is extremely poor. Avoid this store.

I am super disappointed. This store has completely gone down hill. I made sure I walked the whole store, walked every aisle, not once was I asked if I needed help. Four employees walked by me and I was ignored everytime. I also stood in the main aisle to be seen and nobody asked. Not only that product was just thrown on shelfs or spots are still empty. Mostly every aisle was blocked, obviously they had just gotten their truck but never have I seen it where you can't walk down a aisle in any store! I decided not give my rewards number and I wasn't even asked if I wanted to sign up. My bag also ripped before I even got to my car. The changes to this store itself, products and the staff that is currently working here is just a disgrace to what ace is known for.
