We were referred to Anne-Britt Ostlund by a friend in Durango. From the moment we began communication with her, she seemed like a great fit. After visiting the area many times and deciding to settle into the community, we were ready to buy some land even though we wouldn't be able to build our home and relocate for a couple more years. AB was able to interpret our interests very well, and although we gave her a handful of recommendations that we found on our own, she presented us with many alternative ideas. She was good at dismissing properties that didn't seem appropriate, yet still informing us of the reasons why and confirming that it matched our thoughts. She really helped us prioritize so that when we came back out in person, we didn't have to go look at 50 land parcels, just the top 10 or so. She has many connections in the area, and was able to get us additional information on geographies, nuances, etc. She is good at using the tools at her disposal, such as phone apps to better identify site boundaries. When it came time to negotiate, I have no doubts that she represented us very well, and achieved the best possible outcome.

It had become time in my life to sell my house and up to this point I never gave much thought in finding a broker/real estate agent. In our small town there's a buffet of real estate agency's, should be easy, right? Not really, my property is of a unique nature and some agents would decline to take it on.
