Above and beyond the best experience I’ve had with rentals whether in Colorado, Utah, or the east coast. Craig and Noah fitted us for boots, making conversation and offering pro tips they’ve picked up along the way. I didn’t catch her name but the crew member who selected our skis was just as welcoming and intentional, taking time to share what differentiates different skis and why someone might choose one over another. My brothers and I went home and remarked to my family what an exceptionally positive experience we had. A huge thank you to the team at Christy’s!

My great uncle first brought me to this shop as a young gold scout, I have been getting my nordic skis mounted and bikes lubed ever since! Max and Pete in the shop will put a polish on your heart so good you'll never want to go anywhere else. Very much looking forward to the future expansion of the shop(s) and 2-story ski and bike museum! Always worth the wait!

I have been a customer of boot doctors for 30 years. I always return because I get the best quality, boots, boot, fitting, and rental skis. My entire family has been fitted at boot doctors many times. We recently had a family ski vacation and a staff member named Jay got all our demo skis for us. Jay was excellent and I bought a pair of Rossignol sender TI skis from him. Thank you so much for always taking care of us. Definitely five stars. We will be back. David R

We shipped our bikes to Telluride, so, after a week in a box and 1,000's of miles, they needed some fine tuning when reassembled.

The bike mechanics at Bootdoctors were great! They were quick to help us get the bikes back in order. The shop is in a great location right by the gondola and very well stocked. Their prices for the work were very fair and most importantly, the work was done right.

They have a large fleet of rental bikes and tons of other sporting options for the Telluride area. The shop crew knows the local trails and kindly helped us sort out the different options. I highly recommend this shop if you are in the area.

Best ski shop in town, for decades.

I walked into the shop because I remembered renting my first pair of skies from the same shop when I was a kid. Same friendly skier vibe!

I was greeted by the most accommodating staff who squeezed me in despite being booked solid with reservations.

I was helped by Chris, who was hands down the most patient, attentive, knowledgeable boot fitter I’ve ever worked with. I used to ski race so I was giving him a hard time and questioning his every decision. He fit me with great boots and the most epic skies. I looked at the super-wide skies, questioned his choice and he said, “Tomorrow is going to be a powder day, trust me.” He was right.

Thank god I trusted him because it snows 20 inches and I floated on top of the powder.

Then I saw the same Chris on the mountain skiing, he pointed out that I was buckling my boots wrong, made some adjustments, and optimized my fit on the mountain! I had no idea I’ve been buckling my boots wrong my whole life.

I demoed three pair of amazing skies over the week I was there, and I wanted to buy them all.

Everyone working in this shop is an extreme expert skier, love the sport, and know absolutely everything about all the equipment.

Can’t say enough good things about this place!

Boot Doctor is THE place to go for your outdoor gear needs, rental bikes & bike repair in Telluride!

Bike Repair:: Pete rebuilt my Mtn Bike after a gnarly frame break, he took tons of time to dial all the components in and ensure that I had my bike back to 100 %, he truly did an incredible job.

The Staff: Boot Doctor’s staff is knowledgeable, attentive & fun to work with. In closure my experiences all have been awesome.

Bike Rental: not only did they repair the bike they had an awesome Specialized mtn e-bike for me to rent while my bike was being fixed & Mike from the team took awesome care of my needs.

When we arrived to pick up our boots and skis we arrived 40 minutes before closing and we’re told to wait a bit because of the line. While waiting we spent over $1400 on new helmets goggles and some other gear. After waiting 30 minutes (5:50, 10 minutes before closing) I went back up to ask if we could pickup our scheduled rental (after checking in with the QR code online) and we’re we’re told they were closing. After pushing back, they did give us our rentals although my wife’s boots were two sizes too large. We had to go to the other location the next day where the employees were surprised the boots were so big. It’s like they didn’t even try to help my wife get a fit, they just wanted us to leave. But I get it. People have bad days.

I didn’t think much of it.

But then we came back to return the boots. Again. We arrived 45 minutes before the store closed. When we walked in we were greeted with James, who very rudely said we aren’t renting anything and if you’re returning you need to hurry up. I asked what time do you close? And he said, 5. I said okay so what’s the problem? In the time we were there I witnessed him turn away two large families who both had scheduled reservations. His attitudes was so terrible that two other store employees apologized to my wife.

The only reason this is 2 star is because an older gentlemen, and Stu were very helpful in helping us make our larger purchases and completing our returns.

If a manager would like to reach out I would be glad to share the details of our experience. Unfortunately we won’t be renting here again if this is how you guys are going to treat your customers.

Heading back out for my 30th ski trip- lots more if you include festivals/fishing, and I just don't go anywhere else than Oak Street Bootdoctors. The staff is fantastic, always attentive, and always great sharing the latest and greatest info on skis/bindings, and of course BOOTS!
My 3 kids who have grown up on the mountain are all due for new skis this year, and we will be LOADING UP this week at OAK Street Bootdoctors with this season's greatest equipment. Can't wait to get there and see what ideas the staff has for all three of them. Cheers!
