River of Life is an awesome church in Alamosa! I have personally known Pastor Michael and Stella Dominguez for many years now and they are amazing friends and incredible leaders. The church is welcoming to the presence of the Holy Spirit and they have a great worship team. The people here are very kind and loving and it is a very family oriented church. They have a great community and they are intentional about fellowship and discipleship. They have a great kids ministry and nursery care, and they are active in the community. They also support missionaries and have a passion to spread the Gospel. If you’re in Alamosa you should definitely come check out this church! The renovations to the sanctuary are also very nice and it is a great atmosphere to be in. Praying for blessings, favor and increase on this church and the people here and that God will use them for incredible things in the city and the region!!!

To anyone thinking that ANY chruch will be all about God... Get real... Churches are lead by humans, and there's only ever been one perfect human.... He was all about God 100%! People are to be vessels of the Lord, not perfect, we are also not called to judge one another. Anyone looking for a church that will save them is very misguided... Jesus saves, Jehovah Jireh, the Lord almighty gives us Life! If you're looking for salvation in a church you're simply not looking in the right place, churches are to teach us the basics and show us the light, we aren't to sit back and judge all the people inside the church as if we are better than them, we are to take the lessons taught to Jesus, to the Holy Spirit and test the values imparted by anyone saying anything, not just a church. Please at least have an understanding that no church is perfect, if you enjoy it, and the Holy Spirit flows, then let Him fill you and make you whole... Don't look for any building to fix something that is far greater than the world we live in! Give it a shot and don't deny Him, anyone can find something they don't like in anything... This is the human condition, we must understand this in order to evaluate our own motives in even going to chruch!

The Sanctuary is truly drab and dreary. The walls are painted battleship gray and no windows. Just went to a Memorial Service there. Won't be returning.
